  1. I wonder if there's financing available?
  2. Mr. Mudd, Dutchy, Dagger, Pcpilot, Cowboy; thanks for all of the kind words, and thankyou for the support that you've given myself and Mudd. I see now, looking back, that I will live though her, and that she may be gone, she will live through me and Vicki. Semper Fi Rusty, Thanks.
  3. Mr. Mudd, thanks for your kind words, and I hope your Grandma goes in peace like mine did. My mom and I made the call on the hospice service, but I couldn't be home in Texas 24-7 b/c I live in Vegas with my fiance`. The last thing I got to tell her was about my engagement (over the phone though), but she was very happy. Vicki and I had been together for 5 years before I popped the question. She'd been busting my butt to ask her to marry me! In fact, after our first year together, Vicki and Memaw had been introduced months earlier, and I was away on duty at the time; she and Memaw had become very close. When I finally received my discharge from the MArines and came home, I asked Memaw if I should marry her, and she told me I'd be a fool not to! I'm so happyu though, that I had the chance to see her during Christmas and have that closure, and she knew that I would need it.
  4. I figured I'd share with you guys since some of you have posted several personal things on this board. Hi guys, Just a few hours ago, my grandma just passed away. Her name was Mildred, born 1906 in Galveston, TX; close to my native city Houston. She was 97 when she died, and was one elegant woman all her life. She was my Memaw too. I had the opportunity to spend some time with her when I went home to TX last X-mas, and she was a delight as always, but she had been suffering from dimensia, so she would slip in and out concerning the simple things, like recognizing me for instance. After a couple of those episodes, she snapped back to herself and told me not to worry about thos things, and she also knew that I understood what she meant. We were very close to each other all my life. I'll never foget her. I love you Memaw, and I'll miss you. Chris

    Holy Smokes!!!

Looks to me like a pucker factor of about.....50 (on a 1-10 scale of course)
  11. Also: Stalingrad is one amazing level.
  12. I just bought CoD last week, and man, what a blst. I was a bigtime MOHAA luver for a while b/c of the moddability, and all the different weaps that one could play with. Yet, CoD is WAY more indepth with the weaps, and I love how you can aim down the iron sights in the game. I just finished it last Monday (took about 12 hours), It's well worth the ride when you play it on Veteran or expert level. The deciding factor that made COD better than MOHAA for me was the fact that in most levels you have a strong sense of URGENCY to take a position, but you had to use a basic strategy in order to take. Reminds me of Boot Camp and Inf school: When taking a machinegun nest, one member will crawl up underneath while the rest of the team lays down supressing fire. Then, the lone guys chucks a grenade in the hole. After that, it's gravy, the bad guys freak and run out or bumble around with the nade' and BOOM! Fun for all. I couldn't belive thought that those tacs really seemed to work for the most part in the game! I was really impressed with the entire thing, and I hope that some expansion comes out, or even a TC mod- which would be alot of fun! BTW checkout www.codfiles.com
  13. So true about the patch- man it always seems like forever waiting on that thing. Kinda like waiting for 5:00 on Friday! I just finished playing CoD myself, and I thought it was great, heartpounding action. Although I did notice some compatibility issues with the MP. Most due to a pk.3 file mismatch or something. It took about 6 attempts to connect to a game (fo reel yall), but it was worth it. I love that killcam!
  14. One really cool gunfight scene is in The Transporter. This guy does a kung-fu/ gun thing that I've never seen before. - very cool.
  15. Bless you man, I hope she gets well soon.
  16. Definately looks great, and I'm looking forward to it!
  17. I didn't exactly 'grow up' with CK as much as Mr. Rogers, but I did see his show from time to time. Rest in Peace Capt.- Semper Fi
  18. Gawd, myself being a native Texan, I knew people that would hang out at the Wal-Mart.....And Sonic..... and Mc Donalds......and oh nevermind. Anyways, these people would just 'be there' usually on a Friday or Saturday night after washing down their trucks. Just there, with nothing to do, but.. sit there. And stuff. I at least had a fake I.D., and with some friends, we'd go to Slick Willies and drink there. Good times.
  19. Hi guys, I'm trying to get the DCG running, and it's smooth going until I go to select the DCG Campaign folder. I get an invalid filename after picking the squadrons.dcg file in the folder itself. Isn't that what was called for? Please help, I'm confrused. Thanks <S!> -Zag

  21. Make sure that all background progs are closed out or disabled like Anti-virus. That does the trick for me. :) Good luck.

A few months back, I got to see Loverboy perform "Workin for the Weekend". That was cool, but we had to sit through all their more obscure stuff in the early part. It was all free, so I'm not complainin'. I think they also had a song that was in the Top Gun soundtrack. I dunno
