  1. I think you can get a bride from the Phillipines for less than $800.
  2. What they lack in discretion is apparantly made up for by good taste in whores: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/secret-service-colombian-hooker-scandal-escort-explosive-scandal-article-1.1064287

From an airshow a few years ago, since we are posting B-25 pics.
  5. It was revealed not long ago that the primary objective of Robert Ballard's expedition was to locate and survey the USS Thresher and USS Scorpion. He was allowed to look for the Titanic with the time remaining after the other vessels were found.
  6. Not being in the military myself, I had just always assumed that the Bronze Star was awarded for battlefield heroism, but the actual description of it is different: The Bronze Star Medal may be awarded by the Secretary of a military department or the Secretary of Homeland Security with regard to the Coast Guard when not operating as a service in the Navy, or by such military commanders, or other appropriate officers as the Secretary concerned may designate, to any person who, while serving in any capacity in or with the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Coast Guard of the United States, after 6 December 1941, distinguishes, or has distinguished, himself by heroic or meritorious achievement or service, not involving participation in aerial flight— (a) while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States; (b) while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force; or © while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party. Apparantly the V device distinguishes what type of achievement the medal was awarded for: The Valor device (or “V device”) is authorized by all services and identifies the award as resulting from an act of combat heroism (as in the case of the Army and Air Force) or signifying that the medal was earned in combat (as in the case of the Navy), thus distinguishing it from meritorious achievement awards
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. Still, though...there is Cleveland. Even their team name...Browns...is kind of like poo. They are the only team in the NFL without a logo...any time they need to show a logo on TV they just show an orange-brown helmet. Kind of sad.
  9. Possibly the worst peace of crap ever. I'm thinking they might actually be worse than death and/or VD.
  10. I understand your sentiment, but consider the enormity of this statement. Surely SF2NA is better than syphilis? The Austin Princess? The '76 Buccaneers?
  11. Might be cool to turn that article into sort of an ongoing review with occasional updates as new patches, DLCs and updates come out. The series has always been evolving so much that it sort of defies the idea of being reviewed once and that being the final word on it.
  12. Aren't there awards specifically for this sort of thing? If she did a good job in an administrative role, isn't there the Air Force Commendation or Achievement award (I think those are the correct names)?
  13. Awesome!
  14. Those tits look a little small.
  15. Nice! The 164th is based here at Memphis International.

    Holy Frak!

Happy birthday Mr. USAFBLTDAN. Got some Viagra emails in my spam folder I'll forward to you...
  17. May be best to take these concerns to PM and see if you can work it out.
  18. Its what you have to do when you are at a bar and both Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba are hot for you but they won't go for a three-way so you have to pick one.
  19. What I mean is that if we follow that reasoning then only people with a significant amount of direct, hands-on experience flying, maintainiing, designing, etc., aircraft would be qualified to reproduce them for video games. :) To approach it from a different angle, PFunk's opinion is no different from that of a movie reviewer--you have to have some experience with a film critic's history and tastes before you can trust their opinion on how to spend your entertainment bucks (or quid), but the vast majority of them are neither filmmakers nor actors yet they compare movie A to movie B all the time.
  20. If we go down that route then only a handful of people on this forum should be making mods at all... And of course there is the risk of drawing a non-sequitur conclusion--just because someone is a pilot does not guarantee that a statement they make about aviation is correct. HOWEVAR LOOTENANT PEETE MITCHALL IS ALWAY CORRECT ABOUT F14S TOMCATS!!!!!!!!!111
  21. Regarding roll rate, this thread looks interesting: http://www.tomcat-sunset.org/forums/index.php?topic=5842.0
  22. Fair point, but I think that a reviewer's main goal should be to give the reader the information necessary to determine if a product is worth the money. In this case I think that comparing TKs model to ours was a good way for PFunk to convey to the reader his opinion of the ThirdWire model, because many of his readers will have had first hand experience with the TMF version.
  23. Now you have me very curious..why is it not professional?
  24. Don't shoot the messenger--the release is buggy. It is still a mystery why TK cut his beta testers loose...we used to spend hundreds of hours testing his games for free and I feel confident that all of the bugs seen in SF2NA at launch would have been found and reported. Also, thanks to PFunk for his kind words on the Mirage Factory F-14.
