a fast update, I have one side decaled, waiting for them to dry before moving on.

my walk across Warwick to see the TAPS office. It started off with a coffee from Dothan's(I think this is the name), a run across the street to Honey Dew dounuts and I was off, I didn't know the town was this big, and the airport is busy, and I saw some signs that say it's big enough. I walked by the Veterans memorial I even found a Nascar shop!! then I saw it... walked across the street and walked up to it.. of course nobody was there, so I had to head back to my truck, get loaded and head out. I got a pretty cool wallpaper for my phone, and got to see the office.

ok a little update working on the stance and the body some more, keep finding things that needs attention. After looking at the reference pics I decided to lay a coat of black down as the silver on top didn't look like a bright silver, so I put a coat of black down, and then the body works really showed up, so I had to fix some things. The resin nose and tail are starting to grow on me, and the rest is coming together. Hows the stance look to yall?

they come to Roanoke Airport from time to time. It is so cool, but they mostly do it at night.

call me sentimental, I still liked the East end of London. I really miss a plate of Pie and mash, and yes I kinda like the jellied eels,with a nice pint.

I build 1/24 and 1/25. I'm getting ready to start wiring the motor, that's the fun part, the details. If you could count the vent holes on the brake disks I even made sure there was 18. I have to finish adding decals to the interior, almost done with it now.

The Czech republic has had a strong team lately, and I wish I could figure out how FIFA comes up with their groups. I was hoping Poland would win. The U.S. team beat Cuba 5-1 I believe that was the final score. We are in such a weak group that it's basically like playing in the CONFED cup. What a joke! FIFA is as bad as the F.A.

I spent alot of time painting a body on a Nascar, 2 coats primer, then 3 coats of color(all hand rubbed)and 3 coats of clear(again all rubbed), I appied the decals,which took almost a day to get them right. I cleared them and the clear paint"ate"the decals. It was ulgy, I soaked the body in brake fluid for 24 hours and then started over,new colors as I didn't have any replacement decals. I learned IF I'm not sure I don't clear over decals, I future them.
