I've been installing scenery and add-on aircraft...this is so much fun.next to SF i found the best looking F-4 I've seen check it out..

ok my new system has XP home and SP1 with all the updates and hotfixs(whatever those are).so will SDOE work ok on my new system?

Yes theres a patch being worked on..yes it does fix alot of things,and yes theres problems with lomac also.I can tell you first hand the patch is being worked on,and theres a bunch of fixes in it.the MP is the main hold up...trying to get it so MP is stable and fun.

yes there will be a second patch..it's currently in beta testing.the main delay is the fact that the MP is being fixed.no there hasn't been any posts by TK or any of the beta testers lately because everytime he psted he got flamed so he quit posting about it and told beta tester no more posts about it.but testing is continueing and theres will be ALOT of fixes when it is released. also lets keep things civil in this thread..this isn't the place for it.

I have a 5700 fx ultra and I must say I LOVE it!! cost is very close to ATI card and with teh bestbuy rebate I got 1 heck of a deal..might look into this card also.

I got my new system..and finally got got my video card up to snuff with the addition of the power cable.I am so excited with the new system and now the video is unreal!I can finally crank the setings up and with the new drivers this system rocks!If you buy an FX 5700 ultra card be sure to get the power cable,they don't tell you about it until after you start up after you install and get a pop up telling you the system has turned the card down.

ok after some positive feed back and a few problems I decided to go ahead and let the WHOLE Biohaz community try them. The known issues seem to be sky is too blue to some and very good to others,some are seeing problems with the sun as they break through the clouds during inclimate weather..others say it looks fine.if you have any problems please let me know as I'm still working on this,also let me know what video card you're using. The changes I made were on the clouds,mostly during inclimate weather(look at the clouds and let me know what you think...I've used Deuces sky colors(Thanks Deuces),I also"worked"on the stars so be sure to try a night flight.be sure to back up your flight folder..or if you don't like them simply delete the files. ok after alot of looking and actually comparing i went with a FX 5700.sorry guys but 128 DDR2 and price really made it a no brainer...it looks really good and hope to have new system up and running a a day or 2.

yes an add-on...it's a HP model with an open APG slot so I figured why not go ahead and add it on while"the war dept."is in the money spending mood.not a bad system..AMD 3000+,512 megs DDR PC2700 ram,a 120 gig 7200 rpm HD,350 watt case,DVD-R/RW-CD-R/RW,and a 48x CD drive.now I'll throw my old trusty audigy X-gamer in there and new system.Oh yeah..maybe a X-45(going to push the edge of the envolope with that one).

OK so after all these years and over clocking my poor system until I'd get the occasional smell of smoke I have decided to get a new one...now I'm leaning towards the FX card but I see the ATI cards are very good also.what does everyone recommend and why? Thanks for advice

currently theres only the 2 types of missions available for MP..you might e-mail TK and ask him about the possibility of adding MP missions.sorry to be teh bearer of bad news.
