  1. LOL Spark You made me laugh with this topic! I agree with you, online a few days ago with some people I said something like " let's do a little bit of traffic pattern exercise, report on downwind runway 24" Silence. So I said, "okei, a traffic patern is made of four legs... yada yada yada"... HAs for "chasing needles" (which actually one obviously should not do in weather, rather fly attitudes and powers and cross check instruments), I'll remember the sentence and the narcotic joke at the next IR renewal.!!!
  2. There is a desert storm ready for release; rightly so the authors are waiting for the next patch release, which will upgrade, Wings over Europe, that is the game that will host this mega-mod to the new standard.
  3. I mean, I see his point, com'on. The average user here has been playing this series for about 3 years out of the 5 years of lifespan so far. Still like USAFMTL said the noob syndrome must be overcome. Mike just sit at your computer and download and mod, and try and swear and enjoy it when it finally works and then you have ideas and start modding other people's mods.. oh it is addictive. But you can' expect 100% from day-one. Takes patience, and the rewards are huge. Still, the point is not that you don't have time, but how much time you can allocate to this game. Your time management is your problem, and on this forum you can complain only about the time that spouses demand and take away from flight simming and modding. And even that, I bet that there is people who would give away playtime to spend more time with family. So, just download, play read our posts, enjoy. It is overwhelming, but fun. One new user, "the test pilot" over msn a few days ago asked me about Falcon4; is it easy he asked, and I answered, "yes, at day one is overwhelming", His answer has been "I have time, I ll go over he learning curve" indeed a brilliant kid. Flight simming and modding is a complex advanced hobby. Takes time, dedication and often gratification is delayed. Requires historical, technlogical aeronautical, and computer'use knowledge. But like all difficult things, rewards are huge
  5. Seriously, there was no pun intented in my post! Glad to know that she is not in a warzone!
  6. Dave, I hate to ask, is she in a "Hot" zone?
  7. Anche a te Erik, grazie
  8. bhe direi nero stealth, sullo stile del B-1 o dell'F-117
  9. F-18 pit is a close enoguh solution, but a mudhen. Nothing is more fascinating than the Mudhen. Total dual role, advanced avionics, payload what a plane!
  10. [ Same problem here

  13. I bang my head daily with campaigns, hence my frustation with the whole "guided weapons" s**t
  14. Is it possible to have a clearer explanation of those parameterS? StartGroundOffensive=2 StartInterdiction=5 also n case normalsupplyrate= is not specified,(as in most downloadable campaings) what is the default value?
  15. Ah I see, so it is going to be like some of the WOV set; sadly thoguh in those sets the static aircraft where missions-related and not built in the danang AB for example. hmhm this will require lots of downloads...are you making pack or shall I start downloading? Oh and when you have time, can you elaborate more on this ground-objects limitations that you faced? I d like to learn something. thanks...
  16. I have just one little idea. I guess all those ppulate airbases and the rostock area are going to be part of the mission, like the statics in yuor great vietnamset. May I suggest to set them up as targets in the targets and type ini, so that they stay there, and not only they are part of the mission, but will be used in campaigns as well?
  17. I mean quite rarely. Tornados and Jaguars and A-6E for example. They are all tasked attack in the aircraftrole, they have supply in campaign data, they appear in the planning map, they have pilots, they don't or very rarely fly. Am I making somethign wrong? Could be that campaings don't go offensive anfd don't generate offensive missions?
  18. So it is early morning, and Eagles are going to war. The model is F-15A W.O.E (Weapons and Operational Enhancement, i.e. woe's F-15A migrated to SFP1, with sand camo and multirole capabilities, for Mercenary's Squadron in Burning Sand 1983) Nice things, as often, go un-noticed, can you spot two F-15s on this screen taken from Hi-altidude recon? Meet therefore LongDistance, my current fav Noseart by Wrench and meet Steel Angel, isn't she lovely? after some AA-BVR, LongDistance deploys her goodies Steel Angel rolls in, too Rolling in...
