  1. [What If] RAF '43. Early jet madness.

    What if ... RAF went 'full jet' much earlier? 
    Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.) 
    Install:
    Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination.
    A fake pilot is required to run this mod. Also, the Thirdwire Meteor cockpit is required from the original game. 
    Fuel tanks- Overwrite or just leave it. 100 gal tank is the original TW tank. You can overwrite or just simply do not copy.
    175 gal tank also.
    Tanks are just ini files. The mod uses tanks that are part of aircraft lod.
     
    After successful trials of Meteor F.1 Ministry of Defense urged the Gloster company to increase the speed of production. How financing this enormous effort was possible until today is a mystery, that can not be revealed until the year 2375 - due to a secret agreement. But rumors are that behind that substantial loan was the First Bank of Commerce of Ferenginar. But this is a quite different story that we should not discuss here.
    MoD sent requirements for the development of special versions. Gloster at that time focused on the F.3 variant. But having prepared airframes and finally a large stock of Rolls-Royce Dervent I, the company decided to put what they had together resulting in Meteor F.1b  which was an upgraded F.1 variant with modifications known from the upcoming F.3 model. 
    Meanwhile, the company took the development of a fighter-reconnaissance version resulting in the FR.2 Meteor equipped with elongated nose with recon cameras. FR.2 was powered by an uprated engine- Derwent II.  Also, the high altitude variant marked as HF.5 received longer span wings and an uprated newly developed Derwent 4 jet engine. The fuselage was reworked by increasing the height of the fuselage right after the canopy which allowed it to fix slightly bigger internal fuel tanks. Only 26 HF.5 were built. 
    Knowing that Gloster can not afford to work on all MoD requirements some of the work was moved to other companies. Armstrong-Withworth focused on the development of a radar-equipped night fighter version - NF.6. In this model AW installed a Bristol-made turret with four 20mm Hispano cannons. Additionally, two 20mm cannons were installed in the wings. This version was powered by engines initially installed in the HF.5 variant. Which already had better performance at higher altitudes. 
    DeHavilland took the mantle of developing a fighter bomber variant. Based on HF.5 but with shorter wings FB.3 was delivered in the middle of 1943. This variant was equipped with 4 bomb racks under the fuselage. Since DeHavilland made a significant amount of changes in the airframe by strengthening the airframe, received permission to change the name of the aircraft - and there where Banshee was born. Only 24 fighter-bombers Banshee FB.3 were built before switching to production of full-grown fighter-bomber variant FB.5.
    At the same time remaining airframes and long-span wings were put together into the photo reconnaissance variant PR.4. which was still in fact development of the HF.5 variant. Full fighter bomber variant FB.5 was ready two months later. Knowing that FB.3 had serious issues with drag when loaded with bombs, DeHavilland redesigned the central part of the aircraft and equipped FB.5 with an internal bomb bay. Additionally, FB.5 had a remote-controlled turret. Nose contained similar to FB.3 weaponry - four 20mm Hispano canons and four 0.303 cal Browning machine guns. In further development, FB.5 could carry specially made for small bomb containers, additional fuel packs in a bomb bay, or 57mm canon which was required for Coastal Command variant - FB.5C. Coastal Command additionally equipped its Banshees with ASV mkVII surface radar. Based on the FB.5C variant Fairey Company developed the torpedo fighter Banshee TF.6 - where the main difference is the lack of an internal bomb bay but with a semi-recessed belly to accommodate Mk.12 torpedo. All FB.5 and TF.6 were equipped with a new jet engine  a joint Rolls-Royce DeHavilland program - which resulted in Hobgoblin 2 and Derwent 5 engines
     
    Special note:
    TF.6 /FB.5c - you will find that loading a QF6 57mm cannon Mk.12 torpedo is possible on both birds - this is just a 'fake weapon station' that allows choosing your wingman to fly FB.5c and still have the possibility to load a full range of weapons for second aircraft. 

    All skins are in 4096x4096 format. 
    I Made a bunch of decals covering all real serial numbers of Banshee and Meteor
    Also, the RAF letters folder should be added to the Decals folder I know it is big but it gives slightly better quality with still a small file size. If you have already my RAF letters from the real Meteor pack - you can overwrite them - this adds a few more variations of letters.

    There are many reasons why I have made things in this mod the way they are...versions, skins, and decals. A lot to explain but I doubt anyone wants to read about it anyway.
    Pack is big..but I think you will see why it is, the way it is.

    I used Ravenclaw's weapons - bombs and rockets (those that are required due to stated in loadout.ini)
    The rest are done by me.
    This model is designed/checked only to work with Ravenclaw's rockets and bombs - so there might be some strange positioning in other (stock - often oversized) weapons. 
     
    During the creation of squadron patches, I might have used the wrong crown on squadron crests. (according to the squadron timeframe)Gaffe indeed.  All should have St. Edward's Crown but I am aware that some have Tudor Crown. It is not out of ignorance ...Hope this small faux pas can be forgiven.

  2. Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza Vol.1

    The first part of Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza mods for the SF2 series game.
    First of all. This is not entirely a 'Plug and Play' mod.
    Yes, some objects will appear in the game right away, but some will not - because some objects are meant to be used via the target editor. 
    In general, the whole mod is built for terrain enhancement - a lot of objects should be added in terrain TYPES and TARGETS. But of course, some like tanks, SAMs, AAA, etc will appear automatically in the game.
    Having this in mind this mod is mostly for terrain builders, modders, and experienced users. If you are hoping for quick-click plug-and-play - this is not for you. 
    All objects have destroyed models added.
    Gun files should be taken carefully - they are slightly modified by guuruu with decreased performance. 
    I believe all the gun files are provided and you should have them already, if I forgot something - well it happens sometimes. Sorry for that.
    5 new weapons for some of the objects. 
    9M14M, 9M14P, 9M111, 9M113, 9M114
    Part one contains mostly tanks, APCs, IFVs, SPAAG, and some support armored objects.
    All of the skins are green, I added a few camo versions and a few extra but just for specific objects. NO Tan/Desret scheme. This might come in a more specific mod for specific terrains in the future.
    Userlist ini files are just there but they might need editing for your own use.
    Under any circumstances DO NOT mix these objects with ODS 30Aniversary Edition mod. ODS30AE objects are exclusive for ODS and differ in many ways from Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza.

    Fictional A-7E Corsair II German Navy Air Arm service.
    This is based mainly on stock files.

    AS-34 Kormoran and the fictional launcher 'Aero5' for Kormoran are made by Ravenclaw.
    All skins are done by me in 4096x4096 format based on my templates.
    New Bump maps. 
    All decals are made by me and cover all historical  serial numbers.

  4. Thunderjets - Kongelige Danske Flyvevåbnet

    Royal Danish Air Force Thunderjets. 
    Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.) 
    Install:
    Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination.
    Mod requires new fuel tanks that are added to the mod - generally RF version uses new fuel tanks and recon wing tip pods.
    In the game under a prefix. KDF. * you will find F-84E , F-84G and RF-84G
    * Kongelige Danske Flyvevåbnet
    F-84E served very shortly for testing purposes, and F-84G ended active service in 1961. RF-84G was a European poor-man recon aircraft, using modified fuel tanks for a camera pod. Several countries used a similar concept for interim recon flight in the case of Denmark they were waiting for RF-84F. Two different recon pod setups are added, also counterbalance fuel tank and additional Fletcher fuel tanks.
    RF-84G - KA-F and KA-G never received 'RF mod' but served in 729 Esk FR flight, during these years.
    This is a very old model with some flaws....but as long as we do not have a new one I made new skins. 
    All skins are in 4096x4096 format based on new templates. You can easily resize as needed. 
    During service years, after maintenance, airframes were not always returned to the previous original squadron - resulting in a mess of squadron colors (until someone in the squadron repainted again) - but I believe I have the correct squadron colors for those years represented in a mod. 
    All serial numbers are historically correct for specific squadrons/years of service in the Danish Air Force.
    Check weapon names in loadout.ini and sounds to match your files.

    A fake pilot is required to run this mod. Also, the Thirdwire Meteor cockpit is required from the original game. 
    Fuel tanks- not to be afraid. Overwrite or just leave it. 100 gal tank is the original TW tank. You can overwrite or just simply do not copy.
    175 gal tank also.
    Tanks are just ini files. The mod uses tanks that are part of aircraft lod.
    Yes, again Meteors. 
    But I made this revamp to fix what I wanted to fix for some time already in old models..plus a few new things.
    In the game under a prefix .KDF. * you will find Meteor F.4, F.8, NF.11, and TT20 that served in the Royal Danish Air Force.

    TT.20 target tug works the same way as one in the RAF Meteors pack. 
    I fixed data files a little - collision points and hitboxes..as the previous ones were quite weird. But I believe that the flight model could be improved for this aircraft. But this is not my cup of tea nor coffee. 
    All skins are in 4096x4096 format. You can easily resize as needed. Now all Meteors are using the same common color standard. Skins represent all squadrons that operationally used Meteors. 
    Decals represent historically correct serial numbers assigned to aircraft during their service in the Danish Air Force.
     
    Under no circumstances do not use any part of it with older Meteors done by me and published here in CA.
    These new ones have some differences in mapping. Some things were changed, some mapping issues and small thingies. So please do not mess up things.

    Note that weapons- 'Pave Penny' and fake pilot - 'IAF_Kfir-C7' have painted skins to match the aircraft's green. So if you have similar files think twice before over-writing old ones.
    You might want to edit the loadout.ini file to match your weapons in the weapon folder.

  7. Royal Meteors. 1944-1970.

    Royal Air Force Meteors. 
    Bunch of Meteors for the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy.
    This mod is not to compete with the previous Meteor mods that I was part of. It is just my, different approach.

    Yes, again Meteors. 
    But I made this revamp to fix what I wanted to fix for some time already in old models..plus a few new things.
    So we have 22 different (more or less) aircraft.
    F Mk.1 - first 12 production Meteors with Welland I engines.  Not all served in 616 Sq at the same time. Some were moved to RAE or Gloster Company for further development.
    F.Mk.3 - first 15 airframes with Welland I engine.
    F.Mk.3 - equipped with Derwent I engine.
    F.Mk.4 - High-Speed Record (Basically F.4 with long span wing from F.3 - Or F.3 with long Nacelles - depends on how you look at it - but serial is listed under F.4) - Anyway, bonus aircraft for speed record in 1945 and 1946.
    F.Mk.4 - fighter jet with Derwent 5 engines. 
    T.Mk.7 - two-seat training jet.
    F.8 -  represented in mod with 3 variants for the game. First with an early canopy hood. Then bubble canopy and the last one with a large bore engine intake...(mostly serials WK and WL...but at some point, you could have large intakes and early canopy...just a matter of when and where)
    FR.9  - fighter recon version in two variants early and late canopy.
    PR.10 - photo reconnaissance  version
    NF.11 - radar night /all-weather fighter 
    NF.13  - radar night /all-weather fighter with additional equipment for use in hot/tropical climate
    NF.12  - radar night /all-weather fighter 
    NF.14  - radar night /all-weather fighter 
    NF.14(trop) radar night /all-weather fighter with additional equipment for use in hot/tropical climates mostly prepared for No 60 Sq. But also served within units stationed in Great Britain.
    NF(T).14 - training version for Air Navigation Schools - Rebuild from NF.14 - no radar or armament.
    TT.20 - target tug aircraft with target sleeve for artillery practice (target sleeve is deployed as bomb bay doors - AI will open doors when approaching target).
    U.15 - target/research drone jet based on F.4 Meteor
    U.16 - target/research drone jet based on F.8 Meteor
    T7(TT) - separate version - target tug with target banner.  - Should start in the air in single mission editor - while AI is taking off it will lose the banner on an airstrip.

    Tip...
    TT.20, U.15, U.16, and T.7(TT) are serving for nation=RAF but privately I have them as RAF-RED for 'training purposes' you can do that too, or screw this at all. Use it for your liking. I do not know how you are going to use those special aircraft...but it is here for general enjoyment. 
    While RAF did not have in mind using Meteors for a ground attack there was a possibility to equip them with non-guided rockets (F.8 and FR9) or bombs (F.4/F.8/FR.9). So you can do it...but I set primary/secondary mission only CAS and armed recon for FR.9...but you can always edit it your way.

Mostly code letter is generic and do not correspond with real code assigned to serial number. But in a few skin sets it is as it should be. You will see. Explore.

    All correct serial numbers for every Meteor version. Excluded are numbers that never served within the Royal Air Force or were sold to other countries from RAF inventory.
    this gives us 2918 individual serial numbers (I believe that is the number never counted what I did).

  8. A-7 Corsair II. SLUF over Vietnam.

    Simple skin pack with a few sets of skins for Navy versions of A-7 Corsair II - A/B/C/E that flew during the air war over Vietnam between 1967-1974.
    Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) 
    It is designed for and works only in SF2 series.
    To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2 Series.
    userlist.ini included covering correct years of use of specific models.
    Skins cover the years 1967-1974  CVW deployments during Vietnam War. All squadrons year by year.
    The pack contains skins and decals. 
    Skins sets are made in pairs - two squadrons for CVW for a specific year. 
    I could not find all the correct BuNo / Modex but I am considering this as ongoing work in progress, so one day if I will learn something new there will be an update. Also, not all squadrons have CAG markings, sometimes i could not find info on markings...so I left it, again there might be an update if new info appears.
    I believe that the pack after unp[backing is around 2.6GB. So make some space for SLUF.
     
    All skins, new bump maps, specular, and decals are made by me.

    This is huge, a lot of copy-paste for me, all decals.ini, textur.ini, etc...So if you will find that one decal is not showing up or something...just check first - maybe there is some bug in *.ini file. Fix, post solution, etc... So others can benefit from your fix. 
    I put a lot of effort and time, and checked everything twice..still gremlins can appear. 
     
    PART TWO - OPTIONAL MOD FILES.
    This is only for experienced users!
    who know how to improve the game for themselves, are not afraid of experimenting, and know how to go back to stock ini files if something is not okay.

  9. Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza Vol.3

    The third part of Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza mods for the SF2 series game.
    First of all. This is not entirely a 'Plug and Play' mod.
    Yes, some objects will appear in the game right away, but some will not - because some objects are meant to be used via the target editor. Especially in Vol. 3, you will find many 'eye candy' objects but you will find also basic trucks, fuel tankers, and artillery support objects
    In general, the whole mod is built for terrain enhancement - a lot of objects should be added in terrain TYPES and TARGETS.
    Having this in mind this mod is mostly for terrain builders, modders, and experienced users. If you are hoping for quick-click plug-and-play - this is not for you. 
    All objects have destroyed models added.
    Gun files should be taken carefully - they are slightly modified by guuruu with decreased performance. 
    I believe all the gun files are provided and you should have them already, if I forgot something - well it happens sometimes. Sorry for that.
    Part three contains mostly trucks cars and airfield objects in general, some artillery units.
    All of the skins are green, I added a few camo versions and a few extra but just for specific objects. NO Tan/Desret scheme. This might come in a more specific mod for specific terrains in the future.
    Some trucks have light emitters made by guuruu - made to work at night and be 'invisible' during the day - well effect ended up somewhere in the middle.. You decide - it is easily removable in data.ini.
    Userlist ini files are just in a few objects but they might need editing for your own use.
    If you have similar models from me - released years ago - do not mix them up. I recommend deleting all old files.  Here you will find new updated models.
    Under any circumstances DO NOT mix these objects with any ODS 30Aniversary Edition mod. Even in the future. ODS30AE objects are exclusive for ODS and differ in many ways from Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza.

    I have made them in groups (SA-2A, SA-2B, SA-3, etc...) each group contains EWR, SAM_RADAR, and SAM_LAUNCHER.
    It is up to the player to pick and choose the desired system for a specific mod, terrain, etc.
    all except SA-2 use new weapon models. SA-2 uses an older model that was available for years already. (for now, I have no patience to finish my models)

    This mod represents Sikorsky model of RH-53D. It was used mainly by US NAVY Mine countermeasure units. At the end, of service time RH-53D were passed to USMC reserve units, where served as transport/heavy lift helicopters. Some were still used during Desert Shield/Storm operations in 1991. Finally, RH-53D was written off from units in 1996.
    12 aircrafts were also ordered by Imperial Iranian Navy. Only six delivered before the revolution. Add then all six remained in the newly formed Islamic Republic of Iran Navy Aviation. 
    CHANGES:
    I highly recommend to overwrite previous files decals/weapons/guns- or best is delete the old one and put new files.
    YOU NEED TO DELETE OLD AIRCRAFT FOLDERS RH-53D_70. Many things were changed and as tested Overwriting may cause some problems...So delete old ones put new ones.
    The rest (except Aircraft folders) are same can be overwritten without fear...
    Small changes in ini files, corrections on fuel loadout, changes in cockpit ini. 
    Small changes in skins. Also No longer fake weapon "no gun" is needed - thanks to The Trooper. He pointed small fix in data.ini.
    Added simple bump and specular maps. Also added damage tgas.
    Some changes and rearrangement in a cockpit

    ******************IMPORTANT******************
    FakePilot mod neede to run this mod. 
    As always with my mods.
    This addon works with my CargoPACK (included in rar file). All of the weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course, you can edit and use any other weapons available. 
    Standard commands:
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploys/retract at any speed. 
    ANIMATION 1 - right side door.
    ANIMATION 2 - left hatch cabin windows
    ANIMATION 3 - wipers outside/inside
    ANIMATION 4 - Refueling probe - H key (hook by default) will change seat position to see a tip of the IFR probe.
    ANIMATION 10 - Winch
    Parking animations.
    Two parking animations included one for 'on land base' and other for 'on board' parking.
    You can fold tail and rotor by enabling animation in data.ini  file. But it looks silly. And my intention for this animation was eye candy on board vessel.

    With little practice, you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
    With heavy cargo load probably you need little run on A model as engines on A are little underpowered.
    Normally throttle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 70% then slowly more and more, wait and it will take off. 
     
    Cockpits.
    Newly upgraded cockpit based on NATOPS manual. Mirrors working now and showing correct image.
    Fuel usage is not super perfect but compared to all previous H-53 models released here fuel gauges are working.

    Skins.
    All serial numbers are based on available photos, NAVY and USMC documents and are historically correct. 
    Weapons.
    The only "offensive" weapon is left/right side gunner. Well, I'm straffing convoys with it with great success.
    Important - if there is no gunner - fake weapon (no gun/empty) must be loaded. For now, it must be this way.
    Same as default should be loaded Mk103 minesweep. This is allowing top cargobays to be seen. 
    This addon works with my CargoPACK (included in rar file). All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course, you can edit and use any other weapons available. Here is experimental Mk105 minesweeper sled different than in previous CH-53D pack. This one is only for RH-53D. To see Mk105 open cargo bay.
    Also, you can add refueling probe. At the beginning of service, this aircraft has only provisions for refueling probe.

    Cargo loads.
    I am releasing this cargo load in current condition. So maybe some skins needs to be adjusted.
    Cargo loads includes few cargo crates for cargo bay and hook, howitzer, MUTTs. Skins for MUTTS - Thank yo The Trooper.

    IMPORTANT - 
    Due to the construction of this mod it is better to use collision and landing on NORMAL setting. On hard, you may have some complications on airfield - especially with underslung cargo load.

    All serial numbers, as far as I know, are based on photos and US Army docs and are historically correct.

    This is totaly new file. I highly recomend to backup your old files. OR just delete all old files. Even weapon folders. It is updated here.
    This is totaly new files and will not work in many parts with old.
     
    This model is based on previous J model with little modifications. Representing J International model exported to Iran. And J TOW International Cobra - modified J Cobra TOW capable aircraft. Only user of this model was also Iran and South Korea which used 8 aircrafts between 1978-2004.
     
    Pack includes 3 aircrafts as I made it specific for Iran and South Korea.
    Cockpits included.
     
    This addon works only with included WeaponPACK. All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack.
     
    Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
    With some differenced compared to G model.
     
    AIRBRAKES - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - deploy arresting hook to land on aircraft carrier.
     
    LANDING GEAR - belly light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to fold before shooting.
     
    A2A mode - gunner station guncross for turret.
     
    A2Ground mode - pilot M60 gunsight cross.
     
    ANIMATION 7 - turret doors
     
    ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
     
    ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view)
     

    For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed.
     
    When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing.
     
    There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.
     

    All serial numbers are historicaly correct for each country.
     
    Nations.
    I've set nation name for Iran. In my instal Iran - Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. Same with J Tow model and plus SKorea- which is Republic of Korea Air Force.
    You might want to add new nation as It should be - Islamic Republic of Iran Army Aviation
    And Republic of Korea Army Aviation - ROKAA not ROKAF.
     
    But as always you can mod it your way.
     
    Skins:
    I've included skins for Iranian Army Aviation for both J and J TOW model representing early Imperial Iranian Army Aviation and post revolutionary Islamic Republic of Iran Army Aviation.
    Also South Korean Army Aviation is represented by early and late type of painting.
    During Iran-Iraq war Iranian army did some test with launching AGM-65 missiles. But reports says airframe sufers structural damage.
    Here I made possible to load Mavericks for Iranian AH-1J.
     
    Pilots:
    I am using usnpilots by OldDiego. Not included.
    Some pilots models might be too big for this helo.
     
    Instalation:
     
    Copy all files into specific folders.
     
    Sounds:
    For M197gatling sound copy the lines from SOUNDLIST ADDON to your soundlist ini file.

  13. AV-8B Harrier II Night Attack - SF2. ver.2019

    AV-8B Harrier II Night Attack. 
    This is my humble rework of old AV-8B.
    Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) A fake pilot is needed to run this mod. 
    It is designed for and works only in SF2 series.
     
    Around 2 years ago - January 2016 -  KillerBee approach me with the possibility of updating bobrock's harrier,  and preparing  Night Attack version.  After some time, we had file ready for upload. Small changes here and there corrected a few things. And great skins by Killerbee.
    And then KillerBee disappeared from CA forum. Honestly, up to now, I have no contact with him. last - 4th May 2016. 
    So harrier stayed on drive waiting for his comeback. But .... I couldn't resist...And iI started to mod this again. Since I had no KB skin templates I had to do all new skins...and more.
    So now I am here...My standard AV-8B Harrier is already available for download and now its Night Attack model.
    New cockpit and a whole set of new skins and decals on whole remodeled 'old' Harrier. - there is no single part of an original model that hasn't be touched/remodeled etc.
    First of all...If you want to count rivets...Do not. 
    Many things could be done other way....but I did it my way. So you have to bear with it.
    All skins are in 4096x4096 format. So you can easily resize down.  Generally, it is just a few skins.  If you have problems running this in game. Resize skins to lower resolutions. Skins match VMA squadrons from early AV-8B and late AV-8B radar version. 
    Decals are based on my and KillerBee research. All serials are correct for the Night Attack version of Harrier II. Not always (but mostly) correct for a unit/year of service etc. But as always aircraft are rotating between units so its hard to track them down really.
    Big Thanks to Ravenclaw - He send me file with new ALQ-164 pod. Now it is part of the upload. 
    For some reason, I have added weapons that are present in Loadout.ini. 
    Animations:
    1= canopy open - close
    4= refueling probe - beware of a speed limit
    3= night vision mode - not really helping but it is there - inside and outside animation.

    You can exlplore ini files for some additional features like in cockpit "FLIR" feed on HUD .
    AAQ-28 can be loaded only on station number 5 and centerline - in real - centerline come to use later and some units (VMAT) also moded wiring for use on other pylons. But in this mod only station 5 and 4 can carry AAQ-28.
    There are two stations prepared for Intrepid Tiger II pod. In future. 
    ECM also activates RWR on digital display indicator - even if ECM pod is not loaded.
    If you have my AV-8B Harrier already  - some files are same so simply overwrite. I think I did not put equalizer sound file now. It is same as in previous day Harrier.

    Copy all files to specific folders in your game mod directory. 

    ANIMATION 1 & 2 - cockpit doors.
    open bomb bay - open cargo doors - you will figure out why/how etc. 
    This is beta file. Some small ini edits might be needed. 
    I was planning to make it bigger but I've lost 'thing' for it..but of course you can play with it.
    For now and in near future I will not work on it - so honestly, I am abandoning it.
    Better to share than keep it on a hard drive.
     Aircraft include my generic Bell Huey cockpit.
    Pack includes one helicopter with 1 very generic skin and PSD templates so anyone can create any skin desired.
    Flying.
    As with all my previous helos flying is quite easy. With little practice, you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
    Normally throttle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 55% wait little and then increase to 100% and helo will take off nicely.

    This is total pack of C-130 Hercules versions used by Israeli Air Force.
    It will apear in game as Karnaf C-130 E/H/H2 KC-130
    This pack includes 4 versions
    E,H, H2 and KC.
    Pack covers early years of use until mid 90s.
     
    Pack contains all required models and it is based on Dels great new C-130 Pack + update available here on Combat Ace.

  16. EF-101D Jammin VooDoo. What If...


    I have absolutely no idea what I am doing here...
    The true story behind Jammin VooDoo
    When USAF realized that maintaining expensive RF-101B become problematic for the budget they started to look for potential clients among allied forces. Imperial Iranian Air Force saw an opportunity in this. After closing the deal IIAF immediately asked the Israeli industry to prepare a possible package for 22 airframes. The deal covered the full conversion of existing airframes into electronic countermeasure fighters. RF-101B received ground mapping radar and sophisticated electronics. It was successfully used by IIAF in escort and SEAD missions until 1979. Soon before the revolution, Israel was afraid that Jammin Voodoo electronics will get into the wrong hands. Thanks to diplomatic efforts Heyl Ha'Avir acquired all 22 airframes. Jammin VooDoo stayed in Israel until 1983 where it served in 253 Tayeset as an experimental ECM detachment. In 1983 due to huge expenses with old airframes, EF-101 was sold back to the USA. All aircraft were sent to two National Guard squadrons where they served for 4 more years in "wild Weasel" detachments.
    In 2380 due to a temporal anomaly, USS Titan was sent into 1988. On secret assignment, all 22 aircraft were beamed into the cargo bay where airframes were scrapped and electronics were used to create a time beacon. 
     
     
    Basic modding skills are required t run this mod.

  17. Kfir Over Israel. SF2.

    This is total pack of IAI Kfir versions used by Israeli Air Force.
    Pack contains all required models and it is based on regular TW model and available mods on Combat Ace.
     
    All skins are based on templates by ludo.m54 => http://combatace.com...ge-5-templates/
     
    Ive edited ini files mostly in weapon stations to seperate bomb stations from IRM, FT etc. Also removed some lines of unrealistic loadouts (like inboard IRM,lgb on belly station etc.)
     
    Two seater mod is based on denisoliveira models. Ive renamed all required folder /fake pilots/ mods to avoid causing problems with older versions.
     
    You need fake pilot mod to run some of the parts from this pack.
     
    To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2:I (lods and cockpits for Kfir)
    Generaly full merged instal of SF2 family is recomended.
     
    All canopies can be open by Shift+1 animation key.
     
    Aircrafts in this pack will apear as:
     
    Kfir '75 - First version of Kfir (often wrongly named C1 - it is Kfir only)
    Kfir Canard '77 - upgraded version of Kfir with small canards added.
    Kfir C2 - most common version, with bigger canards, additional pylons,
    Kfir C7 last version of Kfir with engine and avionics improvments.
    Kfir TC2 Two seater training version.
    Kfir RC2 Tsniut - early Kfir recon version with adopted from Shahak Tsniut nose with LOROP camera.
    Kfir RC2 Tsilum - late version of recon Kfir with new nose.
     
    All skins are done by me in 2048x2048 format based on templates by ludo.m54
     
    Kfir C2 and C7 can carry MER and TER bomb racks. To have realistic loadouts I've made seperate weapon racks for Kfir based on regular racks (diameter and weight limits)

  18. A-7 Corsair II 1983-1991 skin pack.

    SLUFs of grey.
    Simple skin pack with a few sets of skins for US Navy A-7E Corsair II. This mod covers late years of use. 
    Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) 
    It is designed for and works only in SF2 series.
    To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2 Series.
    I highly recommend creating a new aircraft - for example A-7E_83. I have added a data file that will add a new pilot and new SJU seat along with HUD inside the cockpit. Just an eye candy thing.  At the end of 1982, Navy SLUFs started to receive new seats and some minor upgrades in avionics. 
    A-7E_83_Data will add a new pilot, new seat, make openable canopy and foldable wings. Adds landing light and removes Fuel tanks model objects from stations 2 and 7. As A-7 can not carry fuel tanks there. (you can use this remove_mod from a file on older Corairs also)
    The rest of the data file is basically stock one. So still no proper loadouts, rails for Shrikes / HARMs etc. If there will be demand I can upload new highly modified ini files at some point in the future/near future. 
    Skins cover the years 1983-1991 for the Atlantic and Pacific Fleet.  Decal set for 'Desert Shiled' VA-46 and VA-72 is slightly different than in the ODS-30AE pack. (it is downgraded so I recommend not messing with this - mixing with original ODS)
    Pack contains skins and decals. I have included also decals from the previous pack for hi-viz SLUF. So perhaps you can skip this folder but to be sure you can simply overwrite it. I believe there are two more serial numbers for VA-81 /1986.
    Skins sets are made in pairs - two squadrons for CVW for a specific year. 
    Skin-set for 1986 VA-82 has one small 'bug' In 1986 they were painting bird flying through A in AJ tail code. But I could not find a clear photo of it. So I decided to go without a bird. This is subject to possible updates of the pack in the future. 
    I could not find all proper BuNo / Modex but I am considering this as ongoing work in progress, so one day if I will learn something new there will be an update. Also, not all squadrons have CAG markings, sometimes i could not find info on markings...so I left it, again there might be an update if new info appears.
    I believe that pack after unp[backing is around 1GB. So make some space for SLUF.
    All skins, new bump maps, specular and decals are made by me.

    I put a lot of effort and time, checked everything twice..still gremlins can appear.

    This is a third party add on of the OH-6A CAYUSE using models* and cockpits created by me.
    *External model is build by my friend Tomek Wachowski and me long time ago for differnt purpose. I just remodeled it a lot for use in this game. Technicaly it is 80% new model compared to original old one.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
    I have just modified it a bit.
    It is designed for and works in SF1 series. Flight model is copy from SF2. Here in SF1 somehow works different and I can not set it SF2 way. Sorry guys I tried, but no good result. Someone has to sit on FM here.
     
    Please report if any LOD file is not ok. I've exported everything again into SF1 standard but I could miss something. If ever something is wrong sorry for that. Report and I will fix it.

    This addon works only with my WeaponPACK (included in rar file). All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack.
     
    Standard commands for activating Loach features:
     
    OH-6A Loach:
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to retract before shooting.
     
    A2Ground mode - M70E1 gunsight.
     
    In OH-6A Cayuse model XM70E1 gunsight will apear in cockpit and external model only when gun is loaded on weaponstation.
     
     
    OH-6A Cayuse only:
     
    ANIMATION 8 - front left door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 9 - front right door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - rear door.
     
     
    This helicopteris build in two variants. First is ‚clean’ out of factory OH-6A Cayuse. Just small scout chopper. Second is OH-6A Cayuse as seen on many photos from Vietnam War. Known also as Loach.
    In this model you can switch to rear gunner positionand actualy realy hit ground targets with M60. You just have to aim throug rear – front sight line. Like in real gun.
    It is not prefect but this game as you know is not supporting choppers, double cockpits and many many more things. So this time again it is just to have at least good feeling.
     
    Gunner is made as internal weapon not weapon station. This way is better. Gunner is set as secondary weapon by default.
     
    You can realy fly low and slow. And in Pink Team just mark targets for Cobra wingman.
    I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right it is realy easy.
     
    Fuel. Remeber it is small chopper. And it can carry only around 54 US Gals of fuel. I belive it is enough for around 2 hours of flight here maybe little more.
     
    Skins.
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct.
    Paint schemes and markings. I was trying to be acurate as much as possible in paint schemes and markins. Some skins for unit are generic because there were some little diferences within unit itself. Plus this schemes represents aircrafts used bu units during 2-3 year of service.
     
     
    OH-6A Cayuse standard olive green paint with two serial numbers.
     
    OH-6A Loach. Here i was trying to match my AH-1G Cobra.
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct.

    Story about Weapon systems.
    Internal. Gunner with M60 400 round of ammo.
    No flash by default. Because with cocpit movement on gunner station it apear somewhere on elbow. better when it is not there. It can be easy changed by setting entry on M60 in aircraftdata.ini to TRUE
     
     
    - Weapon Station 1
     
    XM27E1 – M134 Minigun
    M27 - as above redesignated an unfaired Minigun M134 since 1969.
    XM8 – M129 40mm automatic grenade launcher. Not seen in Vietnam.
     
     
    Plus some extra weapons that were spotted on photos from Vietnam War.
     
    - Weapon Stations 2 & 3
    Up to two single tubes for Mk40 FFAR rockets attached on skids, with different warhead rockets. M151, M156, M229, M255A1, M259, M257, M247.
     
     
    - Weapon Station 6
    Experimental quad launcher unit developed by Rock Island Arsenal attached inside cargo compartment. Similiar to system mounted later in exported versions of H-500 Series. Very rare, seen on few pictures from Vietnam War but it was there.
     
    Do not mix Weapon station 2 and 6 on loadouts menu. Meaning to be correct 2 or 1 single tube OR Quad launcher.
     
    - Weapon Station 7
    Most interesting is 7 tube XM158 launcher attached to XM27 susbsytem instead of 7.62mm minigun. Very rare field mod probably instaled only on one aircraft (no. 67-16321). I just used two versions with M151 and M156 warheads.
     
    - Weapon Stations 4 & 5
    Smoke grenades. DO NOT GIVE THEM TO WINGMAN.
    Just five colours of smoke grenades, Yellow, White, Green, Red, Violet. I am not sure if this will support available color smoke effects. So probably wil need to create new smoke effects or mod smoke grenades.
     
    - Weapon Station 8
    Exhaust modification in late Loaches. Starting 1972 when SA-7 was threatening US crews this mod was often instaled on scout choppers. Same purpose as on late G Cobra models. I will apear on aircraft by default starting 1973 due to loadout.ini file.
     
     
    - Weapon Stations 9, 10, 11, 12.
     
    Not to be used on OH-6A !
    Purpose of this is to play Pink Team on single mission with armed AH-1G Cobra.
     
    In single mission on loadout menu you can change wingman aircraft to any AH-1G Cobra available and arm it with designated weapons for Cobra. If you don't like this option you can easly disable this by puting \ mark in data.ini file in front of weapon station entry.

  22. RF-101A & C VooDoo. SF.2 2020 Redux.

    Reworked pack of RF-101A and C VooDoo.
    Generally old good VooDoo in new dresses.
    There are big changes in FM model thanks to baffmeister  in data.ini files - so Backup your original file. You might not like it.
     
    In game you will find new aircrafts under names
    *RF-101A VooDoo
    *RF-101C VooDoo '58
    *RF-101C VooDoo '66
    note that RF-101C '58 uses non-RWR - VooDoo A cockpit.
     
    All new skins in 3072x3072 resolution. New bump maps and specular maps. also in 3072.. plus decals to cover A and C models serial numbers.
    Pack contains several skin sets for both models. With all research, I was trying to be correct as much as possible.
    RF-101A have also one skin/decal set which contains few decal skin sets to cover experimental camo trials conducted in mid 60s. 
    Regarding colorful aircraft serial numbers: 
    54-1513 some say it was dark green some that really black. more info goes towards black so I painted it black (like Rolling Stones in 1966)
    54-1514 first was painted similar as represented in this pack, then it was repainted with adding some brown colors.
    54-1512 green/black camo with added brown during tests. 
    All this skin set with experimental camo trial is quite complicated and hard to put correctly in-game but I hope it will work fine for you.
    I did not include skin sets for VooDoo operated over Vietnam. This will come in a separate package. Eventually. One day.

    All new decals consisting of serial numbers for block 20-35 of A version and block  45-75 for C version. 

    Backup your original RF-101 Folders. Also Decals!

  23. F-4D Phantom II in ANG Service.

    This is a skin/decal set for Phabulous Phantom. 
    Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) 
    Pack contains skins and decals representing all F-4D users amid Air National Guard units. Skins are made for stock F-4D_78. F-4D was used between 1977 -1990 in ANG and these skins are fitting in 13 years of service. 
    Mostly all serial numbers are correct for specific dates and units. If you will find some errors please feel free to send correction notes.
    No ini files for this as this is only skin sets. Just simply add skin folders to your favorite F-4D_78. Or create a new, specific one for ANG use. 
    You will find that some aircraft wear kill marks as in real life. If you want to have your own kill marks you have to modify decal.ini file. 
    To fully enjoy this skin set you need to have ThirdWire F-4D_78. 
     
    All skins are done in 2048x2048 based on Sundowners and Ravenclaw's work. 
    Brand new Bump files in 2048x2048.
    All decals made by me.

    This mod represents a Late model of CH-53D with installed EAPS and auxiliary fuel tanks. I've split this model into two versions. Early with RWR blisters and AN/ALE-39 flare/chaff dispenser and late with some more blisters, new doubled CMD dispensers and ALQ-144 IR jammer on fuel tank pylons.
    Ant this will be the last model of Sea Stallion from me.

    CHANGES:
    I highly recommend to overwrite previous files decals/weapons/guns- or best is delete the old one and put new files.
    YOU NEED TO DELETE OLD AIRCRAFT FOLDERS CH-53A and CH-53D_70. Many things were changed and as tested Overwriting may cause some problems...So delete old ones put new ones.
    The rest (except Aircraft folders) are same can be overwritten without fear...
    Small changes in ini files, corrections on fuel loadout, changes in cockpit ini. 
    Small changes in skins. Also No longer fake weapon "no gun" is needed - thanks to The Trooper. He pointed small fix in data.ini.
    Added simple bump and specular maps. Also added damage tgas.
    Some changes and rearrangement in the cockpit

    ******************IMPORTANT******************
    FAkePilot mod neede to run this mod. 
    As always.
    This addon works with my CargoPACK (included in rar file). All of the weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course, you can edit and use any other weapons available. 
    Standard commands:

    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. 
    ANIMATION 1 - right side hatch and door.
    ANIMATION 2 - left hatch cabin windows
    ANIMATION 3 - wipers outside/inside
    Parking animations.
    Two parking animations included one for 'on land base' and other for 'on board' parking.
    I'm including two vessels moded as USMC nation. (same as in AH-1J pack) so you can practice start and land. 
    Those ships have moded catapults, deck and arresting cables in a data.ini file. 
    Those ships are limited only to those used during the Vietnam War on WestPac/SEA cruises.
    You can fold tail and rotor by enabling animation in data.ini  file. But it looks silly. And my intention for this animation was eye candy on board vessel.

    With little practice, you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
    With heavy cargo load probably you need little run on A model as engines on A are little underpowered.
    Normally throttle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 70% then slowly -more and more, wait and it will take off. 
    It is possible to land on board two included ships. don't forget about a hook.
     
    Cockpits.
    New upgraded cockpit based on NATOPS manual.
    Fuel usage is not super perfect but compared to all previous H-53 models released here fuel gauges are working.

    Few differences between models mostly in humps/bumps/sensors dispensers.
    Skins.
    All serial numbers are based on available photos, and USMC documents and are historically correct. 
    Weapons.
    The only "offensive" weapon is left/right side gunner. Well, it is a quite defensive weapon.
    Cargo loads.
    I am releasing this cargo load in the current condition. So maybe some skins needs to be adjusted.
    Cargo loads include few cargo crates for cargo bay and hook, howitzer, MUTTs. Skins for MUTTS - Thank yo The Trooper.

    Skins.
    All serial numbers, as far as I know, are based on photos and US Army docs and are historically correct.
    One specific folder for Desert Storm Mod Fans. including one of two units operating D model during Desert Storm.
    HMH-462
    Model 80 
    two generic paints green and 3color paint scheme.
    Model 99 
    HMH-362, HMH-363 and HMH-463 operating CH-53D at the end of service of this aircraft. In 2012 CH-53D was finally retired.
    IMPORTANT - 
    Due tu construction of this mod it is better to use collision and landing on NORMAL setting. On hard you may have some complications on airfield - especialy with underslung cargo load. 
    Pilots - best to use is OldDiego's pilots. 
    This mod still needs some work. But I am afraid that if I will not upload it, I might never fully finish.

  25. AV-8B Harrier II - SF2. ver.2019

    AV-8B Harrier II. 
    This is my humble rework of AV-8B.
    Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) 
    It is designed for and works only in SF2 series.
     
    Around 2 years ago - January 2016 -  KillerBee approach me with the possibility of updating bobrock's harrier.  After some time, we had prepared the updated file ready for upload. Small changes here and there corrected few things. And great skins by Killerbee.
    And then KillerBee disappeared from CA forum. Honestly, up to now, I have no contact with him. last - 4th May 2016. 
    So harrier stayed on drive waiting for his comeback. But .... I couldn't resist...And iI started to mod this again. Since I had no KB skin templates I had to do all new skins...and more.
    So now I am here...
    It ended with a new cockpit and a whole set of new skins and decals on whole remodeled 'old' Harrier. - there is no single part of an original model that hasn't be touched/remodeled etc.
    First of all...If you want to count rivets....Do not. 
    Many things could be done other way....but I did it my way. So you have to bear with it.
    All skins are in 4096x4096 format. So you can easily resize down. If you have problems running this in game. Resize skins to lower resolutions
    Decals are based on my and KillerBee research. All serials are correct for the first version of Harrier II. Not always (but mostly) correct for a unit/year of service etc.
    Big Thanks to Ravenclaw - He send me file with new ALQ-164 pod. Now it is part of the upload. 
    You will find separate upload soon with Operation Desert Storm skins and decals - Only units that participated in the operation.
    For some reason, I have added weapons that are present in Loadout.ini.
