  1. Sovremenny class destroyer

    Version 1.1

    753 downloads

This model represents the Sovremenny class destroyer, the primary anti-surface warship of the Russian Navy. The Sovremenny is very heavily armed, with two twin-barrel 130mm automatic guns, eight Moskit missiles (SS-N-22 Sunburn), one of the fastest and most feared anti-ship missiles in the world, two launchers for Shtil SAMs (SA-N-7 Gadfly or SA-N-12 Grizzly), four AK-630 CIWS, four heavy ASW torpedoes, two ASW rocket launchers, and decoy rocket launchers. Three different versions of the ship are provided: Sovremenny class destroyer: Project 956, the original version of the ship. Armed with Sunburn and Gadfly missiles. Sovremenny (99) class destroyer: Project 956A, an improved version with updated radar, modernized Sunburns, and Grizzly missiles. Hangzhou class destroyer: Project 956E, export version sold to China. Currently in service with the PLAN. (An additional variant, Project 956EM, was sold to China. This version is quite different, with the aft 130mm gun removed, hangar lengthened, and CIWS replaced with two Kashtan systems. Only two exist, so I didn't include them. I may release this version if there is sufficient demand for it.) In any of its variants, the Sovremenny is a dangerous opponent and will make naval strike missions significantly more difficult. See the readme for full details. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you!

  4. File Name: Kidd class and Kee Lung class destroyers File Submitter: WhiteBoySamurai File Submitted: 21 April 2014 File Category: Destroyers This model represents the Kidd class destroyers, multi-role warships based on the Spruance class. Originally built for the Imperial Iranian Navy, they were cancelled after the 1979 revolution and completed for the US Navy instead, serving from 1981 until 1999. After decommissioning, all four ships were sold to Taiwan. They were recommissioned for the Republic of China Navy as the Kee Lung class starting in 2005. These ships are included in the package as a separate variant with updated weapons and custom decals, and are capable of leading ROCN task groups in missions. The Kidd class will join existing USN task groups once installed, but for ROCN task groups, you will need an additional ship pack. See the readme for full details. 5. Suffren class frigate

    Version 1.0

    350 downloads

This model represents the Suffren class frigate of the French Navy, in service from 1967 to 2007. They were the first French ships to be designed as guided missile frigates, tasked with escorting the Clemenceau-class aircraft carriers. The two ships of the class, Sufren and Duquesne, are easily recognizable by their huge radomes housing the DRBI-23 3D radar. The ships' primary weapon is the Masurca SAM, designed using data from the US Navy's Terrier program. Three different versions are included, covering each major refit of their long service lives, adding Exocet missiles as well as upgrades for the guns and electronics. While officially referred to as frigates, the Suffren class are destroyers for all intents and purposes and have destroyer "D" hull numbers. Their in-game role and RWR signature reflects this. See the readme for full details and credits. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you!

  7. File Name: DDG-173 Kongo class Aegis destroyer File Submitter: WhiteBoySamurai File Submitted: 12 August 2011 File Category: Destroyers This model represents the Kongo class destroyers (DDG-173~DDG-176), in service with the JMSDF from 1993 to present. They are based on the Arleigh Burke class, with a significantly longer hull, higher superstructure, and indigenous Japanese systems. The Kongo and successor Atago (coming soon to SF2) are the most advanced and powerful warships in Asia and among the largest destroyers in the world. This model has been almost completely rebuilt and retextured compared to my previous version (3.7), and like the real thing she can now lead JMSDF task groups comprised of the Takanami, Murasame, Asagiri, and Hatsuyuki. As with my other vessels, I have included authentic name and hull number decals for each ship of the class, plus the necessary sounds, guns, and weapons. See the readme file for full details. An experimental data file is included, labelled "DDG-173_EX.ini" (The "EX" stands for "experimental" as well as "extremely dangerous.") This sacrifices the cool-looking vertical launch for a significantly more accurate multi-target system that better reflects the actual performance of an Aegis destroyer. Use whichever you prefer, depending on if realistic visuals or realistic performance is more important to you. An optional assisted takeoff mode for helicopters is also included on the flight deck. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you! Click here to download this file
  8. File Name: Takanami class destroyer File Submitter: WhiteBoySamurai File Submitted: 09 May 2014 File Category: Destroyers This model represents the Takanami class destroyers (DD-110~DD-114), in service with the JMSDF from 2003 to present. The Takanami is an improved version of Japan's modern workhorse, the Murasame class, with a larger main gun and more flexible vertical launch system. Two variants are included, the original as-built vessel, and a recent refit with ESSM replacing Sea Sparrows. The Takanami class features well-rounded armament including a 127mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASW torpedoes, and a 32-cell Mk41 for VL-ASROC missiles and SAMs. A full names list and authentic decals are included. The model features a helicopter deck and a few other surprises. This ship is best used in conjunction with my Kongo class, Murasame class, Asagiri class, Hatsuyuki class, and other upcoming JMSDF capital ships. Click here to download this file

  10. File Name: Murasame class destroyer File Submitter: WhiteBoySamurai File Submitted: 21 October 2013 File Category: Destroyers This model represents the Murasame class destroyers (DD-101~DD-109), in service with the JMSDF from 1994 to present. These modern warships are Japan's workhorse, capable of anti-air, anti-surface, and anti-sub combat. Two variants are included, the original as-built vessel, and a recent refit with ESSM replacing Sea Sparrows. The Murasame class features well-rounded armament including a 76mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASW torpedoes, and two vertical launch systems: a 16-cell Mk41 for VL-ASROC missiles, and a 16-cell Mk48 for Sea Sparrow missiles. The Mk48 is a low-cost light-weight vertical launch system equipped on many NATO and allied ships. A full names list and authentic decals are included. The model features a helicopter deck and a few other surprises. This ship is best used in conjunction with my Kongo class, Asagiri class, and upcoming JMSDF capital ships. File Name: Asagiri class destroyer File Submitter: WhiteBoySamurai File Submitted: 21 May 2013 File Category: Destroyers This model represents the Asagiri class destroyers (DD-151~DD-158), in service with the JMSDF from 1989 to present. An enlarged and upgraded version of the earlier Hatsuyuki class, they are among Japan's most numerous and modern general-purpose escorts. The Asagiri class features well-rounded armament including a 76mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, an 8-cell Sea Sparrow launcher, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASROC launcher, and ASW torpedoes. Sensor systems include the world's first naval AESA radar, OPS-24, designed and built in Japan. A full names list and authentic decals are included. 16. File Name: Taiwan Navy ship pack File Submitter: WhiteBoySamurai File Submitted: 04 June 2012 File Category: Other This package includes the Cheng Kung class frigate, Chi Yang class frigate, and Chien Yang class destroyer of the Republic of China Navy. I extracted and converted the stock USN versions of the O.H. Perry, Knox, and Gearing to create these Taiwanese variants. They are by no means perfect representations of the actual thing, since many of the ships were refitted with additional and/or indigenous weapons after being acquired by the ROCN. However, these should be "close enough" to facilitate some naval battles over the Taiwan strait. Note: You will require a capital ship to create a proper task group in game, such as the Kee Lung class (Taiwan's most powerful warship), available here. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you! Click here to download this file

File Name: Udaloy I & II Class Data File Mod/Update File Submitter: KJakker File Submitted: 13 January 2014 File Category: Destroyers This package contains modified data files for the Udaloy and UdaloyII Class Destroyers. It is meant for SF2:NA based installs only. You can find it in the Udaloy class upgrade package 1.0 http://combatace.com/files/file/12800-udaloy-class-upgrade-package/ Alternatively if you have the SF2:NA Expansion Pack by eburger68 then it can be used with the Slava included in the pack. /-------------------------------------------------------------------------- This package makes numerous adjustments to the Udaloy & UdaloyII Data files. The most important is making the SA-N-9 missile launchers function via a Gunner instead of using the [WeaponSystem] entery. As such they operate similar to the launchers on WhiteBoySamurai's ships. On the Udaloy II, two launchers have been set up for the SA-N-11's used by its Kasthan mounts so as not to interfere with the guns of the Kasthan. All other gunners have been heavily overhauled in order to adjust the performance of the ship's gun systems against the AA and CIWS role. The Alt1 file is uses stock or existing guns while the Alt2 file uses custom modified guns. Click here to download this file
