  1. View File Eurofighter-GmbH EF-2000 "Typhoon" Rot Team (Ace Combat Zero) What is it? It's a paintscheme for the Eurofighter Typhoon of the Belkan Air Force, 2nd Air Division, 52nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Rot", from the game Ace Combat Zero. For the Eurofighter-GmbH EF-2000 "Typhoon". The Rot Team was an elite Belkan Air Force squadron that saw action in the Belkan War. Led by the ace Detlef Fleisher, Rot Team saw great success in the early days of the war, earning an impressive kill record. They fought with a deep sense of pride for their country. In the early days of the war, the Rot Squadron was thought to be the BAF's ultimate air unit. Despite being a newer unit which had not seen any action before the Belkan War, Rot's kill score during the first months of the Belkan War was with great successes. The team was mostly centered around the flight commander, Detlef Fleisher, who was known as the BAF's "poster boy". In March 1995, the Rot Squadron was scrambled to the Airspace B7R, widely known as the "Round Table", to engage two aircraft from the Ustian Air Force's 6th Air Division, which were conducting reconnaissance on the Round Table. The 2 squadrons clashed in battle, and in the end, all Rot aircraft were shot down by the Galm Team. Rot 1 was the only confirmed survivor after that battle in The Round Table. 3. They have said they will be working on the HAWK and P40F, but they aren't developing anything else specifically for DCS. However, it seems they are interested in releasing further products down the line for DCS after they are launched on other platforms. They still have their Typhoon stuff on the website but I don't think the site has been touched by them since that update. But I'd guess that they'd continue their work on that. 5. The British Royal Air Force (RAF) and Indian Air Force (IAF) have hailed the success of a major exercise which saw the deployment of four Sukhoi Su-30MKI ‘Flankers’ to the U.K. to fly with and fight against the RAF’s Eurofighter Typhoon. Exercise Indradhanush IV (Hindi: Rainbow) concluded on July 30 following intensive flying operations with RAF Typhoon squadrons from RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. Ten IAF crews including 15 pilots and five weapon systems operators flew twice daily missions, often flying all four Su-30s on air-to-air training missions flying beyond visual range (BVR) and within visual range (WVR) engagements with the Typhoon. This is the fourth iteration of the exercise, with the British and Indians taking it in turns to visit each other's shores. The last time the Indians deployed to the U.K. was in 2007. The Su-30s came from 2 Sqn – the Winged Arrows – based at Tezpur near India’s frontier with China. The Flanker pilots were also able to use their thrust-vectoring control (TVC) “super-maneuverability” capability activated by flipping a switch in the cockpit. One pilot told Aviation Week that they had used the yaw capability of the TVC to remain inside the tight turn radius of the Typhoon in order to keep the Typhoon in missile launch parameters. It was not possible to assess which aircraft, if any, had the upper hand in air combat, pilots and commanders remained tight lipped on the results of any dogfighting. RAF Wg. Cmdr. Chris Moon, commanding officer of 3 (Fighter) Sqn which led the exercise said that participants had adopted a “crawl, walk, run approach” with Indian crews familiarizing themselves with U.K. airspace regulations before taking on the Typhoons in 1vs1, 2vs1 and increasingly complex engagements. The last exercise mission saw all four Flankers working with six Typhoons to escort and support two C-130J Hercules on a paradropping mission. They were opposed by 8-10 red-air Typhoons. The exercise also saw the use of an Indian C-17 and an Il-78 tanker aircraft. The Il-78 operated alongside an RAF A330 Voyager tanker over the North Sea. While the Su-30s could have refueled from the Voyager, they were not cleared to, as a result fighters refueled from their national assets. At least two RAF pilots got to fly in the back seat of the Su-30 during exchange sorties on July 30. All Indian aircraft left the U.K. on July 31. http://aviationweek.com/blog/exercise-indradhanush-flankers-and-typhoons-battle-british-skies?NL=AW-05&Issue=AW-05_20150803_AW-05_494&sfvc4enews=42&cl=article_2&utm_rid=CPEN1000001360373&utm_campaign=3344&utm_medium=email&elq2=b225b3ec70e541dd92c6bef6ba06f0b6

  8. Hi to All, I have been lurking for a while now and have always only snuck in to download skins etc. However since redundancy struck and cabin fever induced by the wonderful spring weather has taken hold, I have decided to have a more in-depth play with the SF2 games. This has culminated in me attempting to make some decals for the Typhoon to reflect the newer RAF Squadrons starting with 6Sqn. Any comments/advice/suggestions would be welcome. I plan to produce decals for all the single seaters (18 or 19 aircraft if the serial lists available online are accurate) and will share if there is interest in the finished "skin"
