  1. Dec. 26, 2021 Update - Please find, available at the link below, my previously released mods. for RoF United Ed. - this time as a convenient, consolidated mod. package. Do read the included "Read Me" files, where available, for more info., particularly the "READ_ME_ROF_General_Info" file that is located in the root folder of the package when unzipped. This consolidated package is provided "as is," with no active support beyond the included explanatory files. Should I ever revisit in particular the AI/DM mod. for RoF United, fresh info. will be posted in this thread. Jan. 19, 2022 Update - "Morane-Saulnier Type H Campaigning Tweak" now available below the consolidated mods. link (allows for the Fokk. E.III to be flown by the Entente as an M-S Type H in PWCG campaigns, ver. 16.x.x, in RoF United). Jan. 20, 2022 Revision - Have fixed and included further improvements in the "AircraftInfo" file that is a part of the M-S Type H tweak. Also, don't forget to name your M-S Type H French and Russ. skins as "MS_H_French" and "MS_G_Russian," without quot. marks - for the correct skins to load if running the tweak. Aug. 27, 2022 Revision - Have included more finely-tuned congestion nos. in the "RofCampaignSpecific" files, and that may be used as a substitution for the RofCampaignSpecific files already included in my "PWCG Modulations" folder that is itself included in the large Consolidated Mods Package (see directions included in the main Read Me file, of the Consolidated Mods Package, if unsure of how/where to install RofCampaignSpecific files). In short, these more finely tuned files, while still historically realistic, will give slightly greater chance of enemy aircraft showing up in the skies when flying with the PWCG ver. 16.x.x. IMPORTANT NOTE (Feb. 20, 2023) - To improve take-off routines for AI aircraft if using my various AI mods. in RoF United, before loading the relevant files via JSGME -- open the following directory path of said mods. (data/LuaScripts/ai/cplaneai.txt) -- and set the following entry, with typos. intact, to the value shown (SeniourWingmanTOSpeedTreshold = 15.0). Such a modification will trigger the AI to take off once other, or your, aircraft, have accelerated beyond the 54 kph mark. Thank you Kartaugh for the initial suggestion, on the now retired old RoF forums, for this fix. ROF_ConsolidatedMods_VonS.zip MStypeHcampaigningTweak_VonS.zip PWCGrefinedModulations_VonS_ver2.0.zip (substitute RofCampaignSpecific files for those already included in the main Consolidated Mods Package) Feb. 3, 2022 Update - The RoF United "Addon" mod. ver. 1.35 further tunes AI behavior for more varied tactics, outcomes, etc. Recommended is to use it with the ver. 1.3 AI mod. See the enclosed "Read Me" file for more info. Happy flying all, Von S ROF_AI_Addon_VonS.zip
  2. View File SF2 Cold War Prop and Flogger FM Tweaks Hello SF2 Flyers, For the post-WW2 prop. high-performance aircraft, several tweaks have been applied to the data inis, ranging from lift values for wings and wing tips to the engine section, prop. rpms, flight control section, gears section, flaps, also empty weight, inertia values, ceilings, engine sounds, rudder reversal effect fix, aileron/elevator/rudder sensitivity and movement, etc., depending on the type tweaked. Tweaks are not as extensive as for my FE2 work - but I've tried to get them into the "90% realistic enough" category for SF2 since these high-performance types are difficult to precision peg to within a km or two of historical stats., in contrast to the slower-moving FE2 types. Also included with this package are my minor data ini tweaks for several Flogger types, such as the MiG-23 S, early M, ML, P, MLA, late variant "98," and export variants MF and MS. Many thanks to the original FM modders for the late prop. types, including Baffmeister, Wrench, Cocas, MontyCZ, Charles of A-Team, Coupi, Paolopanz, and others I may not have mentioned here. The data inis are for SF2 installs only, tested at hard FM settings (no guarantees that the AI can land them nicely, although they fly them just fine). The Me109 G5 and H0 are variants on the stock G10 package provided on CombatAce (to install simply copy the relevant aircraft folders, rename as per my included folders, and drop in the relevant files). P-47 Sprint upgrades are variants on the ETO P-47D Bubbletop model and PTO P-47D Razorback model. Also included with this package are three sounds for a Pratt-Whitney, Centaurus, and Me109 either Benz or Hisso powered (sound works good for both). Links to the relevant aircraft that correspond with these data ini tweaks are located in the included "Read Me" file with the package. Please go through the Read Me for more thorough info. regarding these FM tweaks. Version 1.2 of this package includes the P-47N and improves the data inis for the other Jug and Superbolt variants. Happy flying, Von S DISCLAIMER: All Von S mods, for FE2, SF2, also WOFFue, are subject to the CombatAce "freeware" terms of agreement. Mods may be shared with others, included on other media devices, also modded further, providing that original documentation and/or credit is included, and providing that the mods remain free to use. Von S mods shall not be sold, resold, etc., and Von S takes no responsibility for injuries or fixations that may result from flying heavily tweaked FMs or from attempts to enjoy real flying without aid or instruction from a qualified flight instructor. 4. View File FM Tweaks for WOFFue/pe Hello fellow flyers of WOFFue/pe, You will find enclosed in the attached zip file 45 tweaked FMs for engined-up aircraft currently not present in WOFFue: a 150hp Fokker Dr.1, a late Albatros D.II 180hp, a Nieuport 25/27 165hp variant, a tuned up late Sopwith Tripe, a tweaked Nieu. 28, a tuned up Fokk. Eindecker IIa, a late Sopwith Pup, the rare Nieu. 23bis, a field mod of the Alb. D.I, and three variants of the SPAD 7 (150/180/220hp). Also included is a tweaked two-gun Tripe, Camel and Fokk. D.VII variants, as well as an Albatros D.III Oeffag variant, an improved Albatros D.Va 200hp, three subvariants of the SPAD 13 (200/220/235hp), and tweaked Nieuports 10, 11, and 16. Further included are tweaks for the Vickers-armed family of later Nieups., including the regular 17, the 17bis, the 23, the 24bis, the later 24, and the 27. As well, I'm pleased to include a Bristol Scout Type C, early and late versions of the Pfalz (D.III and IIIa), also a Siemens-Halske powered Fokker D.VI, a tuned up Fokker D.VIII, and improved Alb D.V and uprated D.V variants. And the 8Ba Hisso.-powered version of the Se5a is included too (best of the Scout Experimentals). Included in the latest, special edition package is an early Morane-Saulnier Parasol, a later variant too, as well as the tweaked Pfalz A.I and E.III variants. Please read the enclosed "Read Me" file for more info. on the FM tweaks. The FM tweaks are JSGME program enabled, for convenience. Simply move the aircraft folders that you will find into the MODS folder of your WOFF user directory, toggle on/off with the JSGME enabler, and go fly. A big thank you to all the WOFFue modders and the good folks at OBD Software for making such an enjoyable sim. Those who fly these 45 and similar models in First Eagles 2 will become comfortable quickly with the FM tweaks, since they are similar across both sims. Von S NOTE: Only load one of the SPAD 7 and SPAD 13 variants at a time via the JSGME enabler, since WOFFue only holds one SPAD 7 and 13 folder that can be modded. The same rule applies to the 110 and 130hp Camel variants, the Pfalz D.III and D.IIIa, as well as the early and later variants of the Morane Parasol. The Oeffag Albatros D.III replaces the standard mid-series Albatros D.III in WOFFue, while the 8Ba Hisso.-powered Se5a replaces the standard Se5a. 6. View File Tweaked Flight Models and Realism Pack for FE2 Hello Fellow Fliers of First Eagles 2, The big, Version 10.0 of the FM/Realism Package for FE2 contains approximately 220 WWI aircraft types and sub-types, for your (virtual) flying enjoyment. For detailed installation instructions, please check over the main "Read Me First" file that is included, as well as several older (pdf) files and that cover aircraft performance info., tips, etc., across all previous versions of the FM update package. A great many thanks go out to Peter01 and Ojcar, also TexMurphy, for making most of those flight model files to begin with. Also a great thanks goes out to Stephen1918, MontyCZ and Laton for providing lots of beautiful planes and skins that go with those great flight models, to NBell for the many hitbox improvements provided for the planes, also to VonOben, Mike Dora and Crawford for many helpful suggestions, and to the A-Team by SkunkWorks for allowing me to tweak a few of the FMs for their models too. And of course a very big thanks goes out to Geezer for several fantastic, high-quality models that were produced for FE2. What I've done is tinkered with the data files further. Modifications in all cases, to a greater or lesser extent, include data under the following sections: (a) MissionData (b) FlightControl (c) AIData (d) Sound (e) AircraftData (f) Engine (g) Crew (h) Internal Guns (i) Control Surfaces (j) Landing Gears (k) Fuselage, Nose, Tail, Vertical Tail, LeftStab, RightStab, Rudder, Left/Right/Inner/Middle/Outer/Tip Wing components Enjoy and happy flying!, Von S NOTES: For several of Geezer's latest aircraft and my FMs for those aircraft (Nieuports, Pfalzes, etc.), which are not included in this package, please see the relevant post located towards the bottom of page 25 of the "New Aircraft" thread for FE2, on CombatAce.
