Hello,

I've begun to try to create an early operationnal Mirage IIIS from the DLC Mirage IIIO(F)... this is a good basic model!

The mod could be spécific with weapons, skins (Esc 17 & 16), deleted antenna, avionics, etc... :heat:

What do you think about?

There seems to be a good one in the works, but as a fill-in I'm making a nose for Ghostrider that will fit on the Mirage Factory IIIE with the nose removed via- component method.

Ok my boys!

So I could move it into a "what if" mod... a sort of Mirage IIIES for the Swiss AF!

And could you tell me how to create a skin more "metal" with more refection?

Coupi. :salute:

Good. My all time favourite Mirages are the Mirage IIIR's. Can't wait to fly over Coupi Namibia terrain taking pics of Cuban camps :D

Looks pretty good so far :good:

I've just made a quick comparison, and even though the swiss Mirages have a different radome (Hughes TARAN integrated air-defence system), the original radome looks satisfactory.

Compare yourself:

First the IIIO:

IIIO

Now the IIIS (disregard the canards and radome-strakes - they were added in the late 80s):

IIIS

The IIIS also featured a stretchable nosewheel (in order to fit it into the mountain-caverns) - we won't need that, though.

Another feature of the IIIS was the use of two Falcon AAMs instead of the single R.530 - both attached on rear-fuselage starters, kind of similar to the rear bomb-racks on the Mirage 5:

Some bare-metal pics at the end:

five

I think the metal-colour needs a little more of "blue" content.

Hello,

Many thanks Toryu! :salute:

My first test on the Falcon attachments... but I don't have independant pylons and I'm trying to delete the antenna on the top of the fuselage...
