    2. Pucara Ax-04 Skin

This is the Pucara AX-04 Skin. This plane was used in May of 1982, during the Falklands War . The " Comando Aereo Estrategico" (Startegic Air Command) tried to employ the old Mk13 Torpedo used by the "Armada Argentina" (Argentine Navy), with the IA-58A Pucara used by the "Fuerza Aerea Argentina" (Argentine Air Force). This Pucara AX-04 (ex A-509) came with a totally new skin, only used on this ocation. After a number of failed test the project was abandoned and the skin was never used again.

      Installation Instructions on "README-Leeme" file.

    9. Israeli F-4E "Toad" for WOI

This is my first upload to the website, and my first try with modifying skins so it's very basic.
I took mppd's base worn F-4E skin, and added a decal file for an Israeli "Toad". The "Toads" were phantoms received from the united states during the 1973 war, and because the lack of time, were not painted in the usual Israeli camo. israeli markings were applied on the original camo, sometimes while the American markins were still on.
It's not a 100% accurate skin, because i don't have info about accurate squadrons and numbers, so just choose any squadron you want in WOI and it will work just fine with this skin.

i have tested this skin in WOI only. Just drop the skin folder in the stock WOI Kurnass and fly away.

Thanks to mppd for the permission to use the skin and to upload it on the website.

    14. Hunter FGA.9 - 1970's Wittering Wing

Hawker Hunter FGA.9 - 1970's Wittering Wing for STRIKE FIGHTERS 1
This is a simple decal conversion of the sublime Third Wire Hunter FGA.9 to enable you to fly a mid-1970's era Hunter from the short-lived Wittering Wing that was created to keep RAF newly graduated ground-attack pilots 'current' whilst waiting for the Jaguar to enter service.
This will only work in 'Wings Over Europe' but you can, of course, also make it work in the other Third Wire Series One games by extracting and exporting all of the relevant files.

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the HunterFGA9w folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the HunterFGA9w into your Decals folder.
Your stock Hunter FGA.9 will not be affected by this mod.

      CREDITS
Thanks to TK for a great little game/sim.
And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.
      Regards

    25. USAF F-4 Tailcodes Version 2

This is a complete overhaul to the USAF Southeast Asia Phantom II tailcode decals I did some time ago. It is now working for the post October patch for WOV as well as the original install versions. It depicts every USAF camouflaged F-4C/D/E Phantom II unit which flew in Southeast Asia from late 1966 until 1975 (a total of 66 schemes).

All new decal art is provided, and many minor corrections were made as new information came to light. The textures are still 1024 pixel but should be considered as a placeholder until my newer higher resolution camo textures are finished. The original random F-4 serial numbers are included if you don't already have them. The new squadronlist.ini has many additional entries, but the default entry designations are unchanged so that you may still fly any missions or campaigns without any editing (although I have revised the descriptions).

As before, it adds correct fin tip colors to the vertical fin tips and RHAW antenna housing, and wingtip tape light decals as appropriate for the time periods. Also included is a nose landing gear door decal with the last three digits of the serial number - which is repeated on the inside of the nose gear side fairing door (for F-4Ds only for non-TAC serials 000 thru 039). Although not appearing on every PACAF F-4D, this was very common on many F-4Ds in Southeast Asia. I have presented the most typical (and sometimes more colorful) markings for units - and in some cases even uncoded aircraft (as was typical at Udorn from late 1972 through 1973).

Note that many squadrons have multiple entries in the squadron pull-down list, depending upon how many schemes a unit used. (Many squadrons have five or more entries).

      Enjoy,
