Lowenhardt joined Jasta 10 on March 24, 1917. He mainly flew his Albatros but did on occasion fly a DR I, but never had a victory in it. Both men jumped from their planes but Lowenhardt was killed when his parachute failed to open. He is credited with 54 victories.

  10. Rudolf Windish DR I Jasta 32 1918

Original OFF skins/templates created by Terry “Makai” Kerby and OBD Software.

With the formation of new Jastas, experienced pilots were needed and Windisch was posted to Jasta 32 on 20 February 1917. After further training, he returned to the front as a fighting pilot, scoring 7 more victories by 4 January 1918. On 10 January, he was posted to Jasta 50 for two weeks before assuming command of Jasta 66 on 24 January 1918. Before he was shot down on 27 May 1918, Windisch scored 14 more victories. Thought to be a prisoner of war in the hands of the French, his Blue Max was approved on 6 June 1918 but Windisch was never seen again and his death remains shrouded in mystery.

  11. Albatros D.V (early) Skin for Jasta 10

For this Albatros I have made a new Mauve-Green camo. JFM wrote to me, that the darker tone
on the B+W photos was most likely the green; so I used Fokker's dark green here.
Then I made a slightly lighter Mauve after the tone used in the Lozenge patterns.
Wether it is historically correct or not - I liked what I had got.

I used it on an early Albatros D.V - that is the originally delivered version with the headrest.
This was later mostly removed by the Jastas for better vision, and finally given up by Albatros.
But I wanted to fly one of these with an own skin, and here it is for all to use now.

Jasta 10 was one of the four Jasta of "Richthofen's flying Circus" (Jasta 4, Jasta 6, Jasta 10
and Jasta 11) - they were always in the thick of it. When they had the D.V they were in northern
Flanders. So, if you want a lot of action, this skin could be the right one to use. Enjoy!

Many thanks to the OBD Skinners, who created the immense output of over 3.400 skins for OFF.
I work from their original works and would have been lost without that.

  17. Albatros D III OAW - MFJ 1

All my recent Albatros skins were made as an addition to the numerous and great OFF creations.
They are based on and use parts of the skins made by James 'OvS' Romano and Paarma.

While the OFF skinners have decided to present more weathered skins, like after weeks of service
in the field; I wanted to also have some skins of brand new delivered and freshly painted aircraft.
    Hope you like them.

To get them into OFF, you unzip the file to:
(your game folder) > campaigns > CampaignData > skins

  18. Fokker D.VII "Hell's Jester"

I've always liked the Austro-Hungarian hexagonal camouflage--it reminds me of a Mardi Gras harlequin. The best part is, there was no standard to it, so artistic expression comes into play. Sadly, OFF doesn't include the KuK, and the KuK never had any operational Fokker D.VIIs anyway. But no matter. Pretend you're an Austrian pilot flying with the Germans to learn about the D.VII and decided to paint your ride in the style of your home country.

Some Nieuport11 skins I made while fooling with Paintshop , don't flame me they're not meant to be historically accurate , and they can certainly be improved so maybe they'll inspire somebody to give skinning a go.
