Canberra B-57B 1963 LongNose (Pakistan AF) for the "Strike Fighters 2" Series
by Ahmed Junaid Raza
Pakistan was the only real foreign user of the B-57, with 24 B-57Bs and two B-57Cs passed on in 1959 under the US Military Assistance Program. From 1963, they were fitted with the RB-1A "Georgia Peach" all-weather bombing system, giving these machines a longer nose. Some of the Pakistani B-57Bs were also modified to allow them to carry four external tanks, permitting them to conduct strikes deep inside India.
Pakistani B-57Bs performed strikes during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, flying 167 sorties, with three lost in combat, but as mentioned destroying three IAF Canberras on the ground. They also saw combat in the brief 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, with reports of four or five lost in combat. The Pakistani B-57s remained in service well into the 1980s, being the last of the breed flying in military colors.

Canberra B-57G for "Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam"
by Ahmed Junaid Raza
New Avionics and TV by MiGBuster
USAF2 Tropic Moon skin by MiGBuster
READ the instructions - includes how to use the TV/FLIR etc
16 B-57Bs were converted to B-57G standard and used in Vietnam from 1970 to 1972
flying from Tailand for the Tropic Moon III project, and was a pioneer in laser
guided technology. The B-57G had built in sensors such as a low light TV system,
FLIR, and a laser giudance system. This enabled it to carry 4 x 500lb Laser guided
bombs and self designate targets for them. The 20mm wing cannons were deleted due
to the weight of the LGBs. 4 bombs were also carried in the bomb bay (unconfirmed).
Its mission was to hunt trucks over the notorious Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Martin RB-57A Canberra for the "Strike Fighters 2" Series
by Ahmed Junaid Raza
B.2 Cockpit with bombardier view by Daniel "Kessselbrut" Himmel
Original skin and ini work by pappychksix
Updated for SF2 by MiGBuster (July 2009)
The USAF ordered English Electric Canberras as a need to fill a mission gap - however the order could not be fulfilled in the UK so Martin was able to license build Canberras under the B-57 designation.
The B-57A looks similar to the Canberra B mk2 however there were actually many differences - not least the the Wright J65 engines. Due to the bubble canopy, targetting the guns was found to be very difficult, and so the canopy and nose were totally redesigned into what became the B-57B.
The RB-57A was the first real production model of the B-57 with around 67 being built for a photo recon role. They served from 1954 and were withdrawn in the early 1970s. 24 RB-57As were also converted to EB-57As.

SF2 updates, and other changes MiGBuster (July 2009)
The Grumman Tiger was procured in the late 1950s as a hedge against any failure or delay in the F-8 Crusader program. When the Crusader proved a great success, the Tiger became redundant and was quickly phased out of service. It was an agile aircraft and considered to be easy to fly, a factor which led to its adoption by the Blue Angels.

SF2 Republic F-105F/EF-105F Thunderchief Pak by ArmorDave
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =
*Note: the destroyed model referenced herein 'looks' for the stock destroyed F-105D lod. So, at
the very least you MUST have either SF2E, or SF2V to gain access to said destroyed model. Hence the Full 4/5 Merged reccomendation*
Some major upgrades to ArmorDave F-105F Thunderchiefs, bring them more in line with SF2 at the
Full-5 Merged/Latest Patch level, as of July 2012.
This mod is desinged to REPLACE any eariler SF2 update/upgrade versions of AD's aircraft that
may be availalbe.
The package contains 2 complete aircraft:
F-105F (standard NM finish)
EF-105F Wild Weasel II (SEA camo)
Skins remain in bmp format (as they're not excpetionally large in size), and Decal
Randomization is TRUE. Damage textures are the older tga versions.
Both data inis have all new FM parameters, loadouts have been 'adjusted' for Game usage (and
may not reflect Real World situations, but =WILL= reflect Game World situations). New engine
sound, and some other small tweeks. New SF2-style Hangar screens are included.
No weapons are included, other than the drop tanks, as I've referenced all stock 3W items.
See the "Notes" section for more info on the changes.
When 'in game', you'll see on the Aircraft Selection Drop-Down Menu
F-105F Thunderchief (AD)
EF-105F Thunderchief
Although the F-105F as used in the Wild Weasel configuraion never actually "officially"
recieved the "EF" moniker, I've done so here to diferentiate it from the standard or garden
variety F model.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -
READ- them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explinations, clarifactions,
illuminations and so forth. And notes about any SF2V campaign that may use this aircraft; some
slight editing of the campaign ini may be necessary due to the 'name change'.
A full listing of credits, as always, is below the Install Instructions.
Good Hunting!

SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf FW-190F Jabo Pak
-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =
*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.*
*Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment.*
Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Wolf's FW-190. This is the next of a series of FW-190 upgrades, that will cover those models (while still based off Wolf's original LOD), that were/are available from the 1stGen SF/Wo* mods previously released. With required upgrades for SF2.
This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 ETO/MTO intalls. It is reccomended you delete the aircraft and decals folders of the originals, as to NOT cause any conflicts with THIS mod.
This package contains 2 variants of the FW-190F as deployed in Western/Southern Europe, and North Africa/Med regions. Skins/Decals in this pak are:
9/SG4 (Western Europe, crica 1944)
I-SG4 (MTO desert camo, as based on Sardinia)
*Please note, you should =NOT= mix/match the ETO and MTO skins in an ETO only install (or MTO only install). See 'Special Install Notes' for further instructions*
All Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
A (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together from various sources. As always, while it works quite well, further fine tuning is required by Experten.
Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as well a new SF2 version of my "box art" Hangar and/or Loading screens.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest. When discoverable, all original readmes are included for historical purposes.
*Due to the age of the physical model (LOD), this mod is being released "as is"; PLEASE see the Notes section for more info*
Happy Landings!

SF2 WW2 Fi-156 Storch Tweeks Pak
-- Something for the WW2 players --
= For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at the 08 Patch Level. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment (read: cockpit tweeks, data ini tweek, destroyed model), all the features will =NOT= be working as designed.*
Some modificationa, tweeks, reskins and so forth for Raven's very cool little Stroch, create an SF2-ish version. (although it needed very little work!!). As stated above it will probably work in SF/Wo* game install at the 08 Patch level. As the cockpit uses the "open cockpit" statement, it may not work in 06 levels. I don't remember if that statement is active in those earlier versions.
Basically, I've added a working cockpit, with extensive modifications to allow you 'see' the internal structure of the framing and such. The cockpit comes from my L-19/O-1E mod, which is in itself a mod of Kesselbrut Yak-3/9 cockpit. Through use of moves and Hides, along with metric conversion of the gauge readout, makes this a fun plane for sightseeing! And a new pilot figure and engine sound, too.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
With Thanks To Raven for this bird,
Happy Landings!

SF2 WW2 ETO A-26B Invader Pak
-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
= For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred -PLUS Expansion Pak 1) =
*Note: there is a DISTINCT possibility that this mod, like it's KAW brother, will =NOT= work in 1stGen installs, at any patch level. Having SF2I Expansion Pak 1 is reccomended, as the loadout references the Stock 3W WW2 bombs.*
A reskining of Bobrock's SUPERB B-model Invader, recreate those as used from late 1944 through war's end in the European Theatre of Operations.
This is a complete aircraft pak, with all the trimmings. Skins/Decal sets included are for the following units:
670th BS, 416th BG, 9th AF
552nd BS, 386th BG, 9th AF
(actually, ALL Invader units in the ETO were in the 9th)
Skins are in DDS format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. There are no nose arts, unfortunately, in this pak.
Weapons, for the most part are NOT included. The bombs used reference those from SF2I ExpPak1, but are easily swapped out for the older WepPak version by a simple loadout ini text edit. Pilot figures (the gunner) is included, and a NEW engine engine sound; now using the AvHistory R2600 x2 sound.
The Standard Animation Keystroke (shift/0) opens the canopy.
When 'in game', you'll see...
A-26B Invader (BR)
on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This, also, will help to diferentiate the aircraft from any other Invader you may (or may not) have.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. And the "Notes" section, too. Important changes there.
Good Hunting!!
