MiG-17PEV Fresco-C 'Abakarab'
BACKGROUND HISTORY:
During the mid-50's the Parani Air Force needed to update its whole fleet regarding to future conflicts
with their neighbour the Kingdom of Dhimar.
Contacts were made with the Soviet government and a license to build the SU-7 under the name of P-207
was bought.
But the SU-7 was still in development and Paran needed a modern jetfighter to face an inminent war with
Dhimar.
They showed interest for the new MiG-17 which fitted very well in the Air Force needs and was been widely
exported to the allies of the USSR.
Instead of buying a license, they bought some MiG-17 squadrons. The soviets made a new version for Paran, the MiG-17PEV (Paran Export Version) which was basically a modified MiG-17F. It was called 'Abakarab' (Skorpion) by the Parani pilots.
In this version the radar has been removed, the strenght of the wings have been enforced to give the
aircraft more maneuverability, an the three 30mm cannons have been replaced by three 20 mm machine guns with 200 rounds each.
The Skorpion showed its excellent quality in the conflicts against Dhimar where it shot down many
US and Dhimari fighters. It was also very useful and accurate in air to ground missions.

PAC P-207 Fitter-A 'Korosh'
BACKGROUND HISTORY:
In 1960 the Parani Air Force requested a new fighter to replace their outdated Piranhas.
Contacts were made between the Parani and Soviet government and a license to build the new SU-7 fighter
was given to the Parani Aircraft Corporation (PAC). The designation of the under license built aircraft
was PAC P-207 called Korosh (Shark) by the Parani pilots. The NATO gave it the name of Fitter-A.
The new aircraft saw the combat for the first time in the war against Dhimar, and it proved that it was
an excelent plane in both air to air and air to ground missions.
It was produced massively and remained as the main Parani frontline fighter until the appearance of the
PAC-221. When the new fighter appeared the P-207 carried out missions of reconaissance and light bombing
until its retirement in middle 80's or early 90's.
It's believed that a little amount of this aircraft were sold to India.
As usual, PAC made some changes on the original design of the SU-7 to make it fit better in the Parani
Air Force Needs.
The P-207 was lighter than the SU-7, the radar was removed, the fuel capacity was increased to cover
large distances over the desert, and the two 30 mm cannons were replaced by 2 20 mm machineguns with
250 rounds each. PAC also made the new plane capable of carrying up to 4 AA-2 Atoll making it the bes
fighter aircraft of the Middle East in the early 60's.
AIRCRAFT:
This is a mod of the default SU-7 BMK. I have made changes in the weapons, characteristics and performance
of the aircraft.
Thanks to ThirdWire for the superb models they have created.
Thanks also to Wrench and the people of the India/Pakistan Mod for the panel of the HAL Type 77 used in the PAC-207.
This mod is compatible with SF2, however it could be combatible with SF1 (not tested).

PAC P-221 Fishbed-C 'Eledira'
BACKGROUND HISTORY:
In 1962 the Parani Aircraft Corporation (PAC) bought a license to the USSR to build their new fighter,
the MiG-21, regarding to future conflicts with its neighbour the Kingdom of Dhimar.
Due to the high construction price (too much for a recently defeated country), PAC decided to redesign
the MiG-21 to make it fit in the Parani Air Force needs.
They removed the radar, the IR missiles and all the armor, the 30mm cannon was replaced by a M161_A1
20mm machinegun with 500 rounds and more room for fuel was created.
The result was a very cheap, light and maneuverable day fighter which was faster and capable of a better
action range than the Russian ersion. It was very gentle and easy to fly for pilots with very few
experience.
Parani pilots gave it the name of 'Eledira' which means Stingray due to its shape.
Its result in combat was so much better than expected and Dhimar was forced to buy more modern technology to the US to face this new threat.

Typhoon beta for SF2 series....
These folders go into the relevant directories in the C:/users/xxx/saved
games/ThirdWire........
This is very very beta at the moment so bare that in mind before asking
too many questions or complaining :)
I have released this for some community evaluation and to get some
general help with tweaking, give it a go and see what you think.
it has a 'what if' 74 squadron tigers skin for now and is using my
original pit from the first typhoon, also the HUD symbology has 2 shades
of green...this is from some testing I did and I havent bothered to
revert to just 1 shade so it's not a bug, the HUD is formatted to the WIP
pit so it will overlap the current one.
still WIP is a brand new pit which will use the new eye candy like bump
and specular.....
enjoy

For Strike Fighters 2 Israel or Strike Fighters 2 Full Merge
This is the third of four projects I have been working on for the last 6 months. It will be followed by an F7U Cutlass Ultimate Package(when fully completed). I am also planning an F11F Tiger Ultimate package to follow .
The F3H-2N and -2M were all built under contracts initially intended to cover for the disasterous F3H-1N. Following the completion of these contracts, a new Demon version was ordered in 1956-57 under a new set of contracts. This version was designated F3H-2 (F-3B after 1962). The F3H-2 could carry and launch the more capable AAM-N-6 (AIM-7C after September 1962) Sparrow III semi-active radar homing missile. The Sparrow III was a definite improvement over the Sparrow I, which was a pure beam riding missile, with no active homing capability, which meant that the guidance error was in the shape of a cone, which increased in diameter as the range inceased. The F3H-2 could also launch the AAM-N-7 (AIM-9B) Sidewinder IA air-to-air infrared homing air-to-air missile. The F3H-2 was equipped with an AN/APG-51B radar along with the AN/APA-127 Illuminator/Launch Envelope computer. The F3H-2 was optimized as a FIGHTER-BOMBER and could carry up to 6000 pounds of ordnance (bombs, rockets, or "special stores") on two fuselage and six wing stations. Late production F3H-2's also differed from the previous versions in having a slightly shorter beaver tail cone. The last of 239 F3H-2s was delivered on April 8, 1960, bringing the Demon production program to a close. Total Demon production was 519 aircraft. An interesting note is that there is NO EVIDENCE of the Demon ever being handed down to the USN Reserves. It seems almost all Demons were sent directly to NAS Litchfield Park and the scrapper. Only a handful remain today in museums......how sad.
Being underpowered was its major flaw. The original Westinghouse J-40 never materialized and the J-71 was fitted instead. Pilots called the Demon the "Lead Sled" or just "Sled".
This is a major rework of the existing F3H-2M demon file into the 3 variants. Almost everything has been tweeked to make it more accurate in appearance and performance. The skins have been painstakingly researched and re-created. Every squadron which flew
this -2 model Demon is represented here including changes in their scheme over time. The flight model has been adjusted to fly like the Demon and give you performance worthy of its nickname. There are new Hangar and Loading Screens as well.
Only Squadrons which operated this -2 variant of the Demon are included in the skins.
SQUADRONS REPRESENTED:
VF-13 Aggressors
VF-14 Tophatters
VF-21 Freelancers
VF-31 Tomcatters (2 skin versions)
VF-41 Black Aces (2 skin versions)
VF-53 Puking Dogs
VF-54 Silver Kings
VF-64 Freelancers
VF-92 Silver Kings
VF-101 Grim Reapers
VF-121 Pacemakers (2 skin versions)
VF-131 Nightcappers
VF-141 Iron Angels
VF-151 Vigilantes (2 skin versions)
VF-161 Chargers
VF-193 Ghost Riders (3 skin versions)
VF-213 Black Lions
YES....THAT IS 23 SEPARATE SKINS!!!!!!!! All are researched and re-created here. Bureau Numbers are accurate for 3 blocks of the F3H-2 Production line (blocks h,p and t).
A new weapons file for the AIM-7A Sparrow I missile is included. LET IT OVERWRITE any previous AIM-7A's you may have. This one is a new and CORRECT model.
There are separate ini files to allow the user to operate Air to Ground Missions (with different ordanance pylons). PLEASE SEE READ-ME for details
A read-me file is enclosed which contains installation instructions and credits.
