ZSU-23 Shilka armed Cargo Ship

Hi!!! This is a little modification of the stock Cargo Ship. It has a ZSU-23 Shilka on its deck, so that it will shoot the hell out of anything flying above it. It won't be such a threat for high velocity aircrafts, even at low altitude, but you will have some trouble if trying to dive-bomb towards the ship. Note that the 3D model is the same. I don't know if it is possible to actually add a Shilka model on its deck. This is just a deadly INI edit.
This will not replace the stock Cargo Ship. Just drag the ShilkaCargoShip folder to your GroundObjects folder. That's it!!!

Murasame class destroyer
This model represents the Murasame class destroyers (DD-101~DD-109), in service with the JMSDF from 1994 to present. These modern warships are Japan's workhorse, capable of anti-air, anti-surface, and anti-sub combat. Two variants are included, the original as-built vessel, and a recent refit with ESSM replacing Sea Sparrows.
The Murasame class features well-rounded armament including a 76mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASW torpedoes, and two vertical launch systems: a 16-cell Mk41 for VL-ASROC missiles, and a 16-cell Mk48 for Sea Sparrow missiles. The Mk48 is a low-cost light-weight vertical launch system equipped on many NATO and allied ships.
A full names list and authentic decals are included. The model features a helicopter deck and a few other surprises. This ship is best used in conjunction with my Kongo class, Asagiri class, and upcoming JMSDF capital ships.

DDG-1000 Zumwalt class destroyer
This model represents the Zumwalt class, the United States Navy's newest and most advanced warship, currently under construction and scheduled to enter service in 2015.
Originally intended to replace the retired Spruance class, due to excessive costs the DDG-1000 order was eventually cut back to only three ships. While still touted as multi-role vessels, the Zumwalt's primary role will be naval fire support. As such it will be a long overdue replacement for the Iowa class. The game data for this model has been designed to reflect this mission.
I did my best to make this ship as unique and revolutionary in-game as it is in real life. In addition to its heavy missile armament (with four data.ini files for different loadouts included), the Zumwalt is armed with an advanced gun system which can hit targets further away than any other ground object ever released for the Strike Fighters series. The model also features a spacious helicopter deck, original sound effects, and a few cosmetic easter eggs.

DDG-79 Arleigh Burke class Aegis destroyer (Flight IIA)
This model represents the Arleigh Burke class destroyers Flight IIA (DDG-79~DDG-88) and Flight IIA+ (DDG-89~112), in service from 2000 to present. They are among the largest and most heavily armed destroyers in the world. This package is intended as a companion piece to my original Flight I Arleigh Burkes, thus completing the entire class of ships.
As with my previous Aegis vessels, I've included name and hull number decals for each ship of the class, plus the necessary sounds, guns, and weapons. An optional data file allowing multiple simultaneous engagements is included. See the readme file for full details.

Sovremenny class destroyer
This model represents the Sovremenny class destroyer, the primary anti-surface warship of the Russian Navy. The Sovremenny is very heavily armed, with two twin-barrel 130mm automatic guns, eight Moskit missiles (SS-N-22 Sunburn), one of the fastest and most feared anti-ship missiles in the world, two launchers for Shtil SAMs (SA-N-7 Gadfly or SA-N-12 Grizzly), four AK-630 CIWS, four heavy ASW torpedoes, two ASW rocket launchers, and decoy rocket launchers.
Three different versions of the ship are provided:
Sovremenny class destroyer: Project 956, the original version of the ship. Armed with Sunburn and Gadfly missiles.
Sovremenny (99) class destroyer: Project 956A, an improved version with updated radar, modernized Sunburns, and Grizzly missiles.
Hangzhou class destroyer: Project 956E, export version sold to China. Currently in service with the PLAN.
(An additional variant, Project 956EM, was sold to China. This version is quite different, with the aft 130mm gun removed, hangar lengthened, and CIWS replaced with two Kashtan systems. Only two exist, so I didn't include them. I may release this version if there is sufficient demand for it.)
In any of its variants, the Sovremenny is a dangerous opponent and will make naval strike missions significantly more difficult.

Yukan and Yuting class landing ships
These models represent two major landing ships in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy:
Type 072 Yukan class, introduced in 1978, China's first indigenous large landing ship
Type 072II Yuting class, introduced in 1992, an improved version of the Yukan
These classes form the backbone of China's amphibious assault force. Each can carry 10 tanks, or 200 to 250 troops, or 500 tons of cargo, and feature a bow ramp and stern gate. They are desgined to be fast enough to reach Taiwan from the mainland in a single night. Each ship is armed with medium-caliber AAA guns. Some Yuting hulls were apparently equipped with a pair of 40-tube 122mm rocket launchers for naval fire support. As there is not enough information about them, this variant is not included in the package, but is available on request.
Important note: Once these ships are installed, the game can automatically generate task forces on naval maps featuring China as the primary opposing faction (i.e. Taiwan straits/Formosa and so on). You may be tasked to sink these landing ships as a naval strike mission so plan accordingly.
I recommend that you install the Luda, Jianghu, and Jiangwei models (as well as any PLAN ships I create in the future) so that a full escort force is available.

Luda class destroyers
These models represent the Luda class destroyers, in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy since 1971. They are the first surface warfare vessels designed and built in China.
Three different variants of the ship are included:
Type 051 Luda class: Initial version, armed with Silkworm missiles, two twin 130mm guns, and a large number of manually operated anti-aircraft guns.
Type 051G1 Luda-III: Improved version with upgraded radar, missiles, and automatic guns.
Type 051G2 Luda-III: Modern refit with upgraded sensors and weapons. Silkworms replaced with 4x4 YJ-8 missiles, and aft AAA turret replaced with HQ-7 SAM system.
(An additional variant refitted with a helicopter hangar, the Luda-II, is not included since only a single example was produced.)

Nanuchka I & II class corvettes
This model represents the Nanuchka class corvette, a Cold War era missile boat used by the Soviet Union and several export customers.
Three different versions of the ship are provided:
Nanuchka I class corvette (Soviet version; classified as a frigate in game so that it can appear in Soviet task forces)
Nanuchka I class missile boat (Soviet version; classified as a patrol boat)
Nanuchka II class missile boat (export version for India, Algeria, and Libya; classified as a patrol boat)
All three versions may be installed together with no conflicts or other issues.
The Nanuchka series are quite heavily armed for their size, with a 57mm twin gun, SA-N-4 Gecko launcher, and either six SS-N-9 Siren missiles (Nanuchka I) or four SS-N-2C Styx missiles (Nanuchka II). Naturally, all of these weapons are fully functional on the models.

Asagiri class destroyer
This model represents the Asagiri class destroyers (DD-151~DD-158), in service with the JMSDF from 1989 to present. An enlarged and upgraded version of the earlier Hatsuyuki class, they are among Japan's most numerous and modern general-purpose escorts.
The Asagiri class features well-rounded armament including a 76mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, an 8-cell Sea Sparrow launcher, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASROC launcher, and ASW torpedoes. Sensor systems include the world's first naval AESA radar, OPS-24, designed and built in Japan.
A full names list and authentic decals are included. The model features a helicopter deck and a few other surprises. This ship is best used in conjunction with my Kongo class, Murasame class, and other upcoming JMSDF capital ships.

USS Albany CG 10 started life as USS Albany (CA-123) an WWII Oregon City class Heavy Cruiser she was a little late to make the "hot"WAR But she soldiered on through the coldwar in 1958 she was placed out on commission she spent the next 4 years getting a complete rebuild when she came out she no longer was a gun cruiser she had now sacrificed her guns to be a complete Guided missile cruiser sporting the Talos & tartar missile systems

HMCS Bonaventure (CVL 22) was a Majestic class aircraft carrier. She served in the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Forces Maritime Command from 1957 to 1970 and was the third and the last aircraft carrier to serve Canada. The ship was laid down for the British Royal Navy as HMS Powerful in November 1943. At the end of World War II, work on the ship was suspended in 1946. At the time of purchase, it was decided to incorporate new aircraft carrier technologies into the design. Bonaventure never saw action during her career having only peripheral, non-combat roles. However, she was involved in major NATO fleet-at-sea patrol during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The name Vikrant was taken from Sanskrit vikranta meaning "stepping beyond", i.e. "courageous" or "bold". Captain Pritam Singh was the first commanding officer of the carrier.

*Note: in particular, these are designed for use in a WW2 ETO/MTO mods folders built =FROM= the
SF2NA.exe. No others seem to have whatever coding is needed (at least in my testing) for proper
CVBG formation. Be advised, it will absolutely =NOT= work in 1stGens. Please also note, that
the WW2 EAW ETO map, even the (as yet) unfinshed rebuild will NOT contain NA style ship-specific zones,
as it lacks enough 'sea room' for maunvering.*
Most of these ships are mods of Hinchbrooks's or Geo's, reflagged and slightly tweeked. Some
you may have already, and have transfered over to you ETO & MTO games, as they've been used on
several terrain mods of mine for The Pacific War , MTO or etc.. These will replace them.
I'm no Naval Archetiect, so "those that know", please make any needed corrections and upload!
When discoverable, armor values reflect Real Life . Names lists have been created for all.
REMINDER: if you have these ships already, you may want to back up the originals, as this pack
WILL completly replace/overwrite them!!!!
REMEMBER: For the most part, these are "stand in" ships!!! and may not reflect the full
capabilities of their Real Life counterparts. (Or, in some cases, even look like them)
Unless otherwise indicated, all ships were originally created by Hinchbrook a loooooooong time
ago.
This pack contains naval units for the Royal Navy and German Kriegsmarine, and a few French Navy ships thrown in for good measure. Some of these are repeats from the PTO Naval Units pak; no US Navy ships are included. You can transfer them from the PTO, if necessary.

In another subfolder, called "z-MTO sepcific", are the Italian Regia Marina ships:

a 'generic' MTB, and...
a KM Graf Zepplin Class CV, a "what If.." rebuild from the Formidable lod. This is slightly
beter than the original I'd done some years back, based off EAGLE. Of course, we lack Lufwaffe
carrier capable aircraft...but, what the heck, right? Still working a FN Bearn stand-in....
All ships include a full "Names.lst". These are JUST the surface combatants; there are no
support/supply ships included, other than a 'generic' minesweeper.
Make sure you have the WW2 Nations ini that includes the Nazi Germany and WW2 Italy. It's
available at the following URL:

It should be noted at this time, I am NOT a Naval Archeitect, and pretty much all these ships
need SOMEBODY to go through them and add the 2ndary and Tertiary AAA batteries - expecially the
Cruisers, Battleships, and stand-in Destroyers.
Included are the ships sounds wavs, and my SoundList.ini. If you have an extracted soundlist,
just edit your existing one to add the 2 sounds.
It's also advisable to have the WW2 Guns pak, as it includes the Naval Artillery. It's

However, some new guns ARE included for the RN boats.
NOTE: WW2 Gunpack Updated 4/23/2013 to include some missing naval guns.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Where possible, and if I still had them,
original readmes are included.
Reminder: a lot of these vessels are really old (2004/05), and therefore do NOT have multiple
main gun installations or secondary/tertiary batteries; those that do, have been jiggered into
being, and =DO= need further tweeking. Due to their age, "they are as they is". Of course, if
someone wants to build new ones.....<grin>
Remember, they are all pretty much 'stand ins', but do work relatively well.
