    2. Avia B-71 By Monty CZ

Avia B-71 plane for Strike Fighters 2 by ThirdWire

B-71 was license build Tupolev SB-2 used by czechoslovakia

      unfortunately it came too late

Czechoslovakian Air Force received 60 Russian-built SB with Hispano Suiza 12Ybrs engines in April and May 1938. Another 101 bombers and 60 reconnaissance aircraft were license-built Avia B-71 but only 101 were built.

Cockpit used in this package is build by Stary and it is not 100% correct for this plane

but close enough. Thank you Stary

    6. Vought F4U-5 Corsair, Fuerza Aérea Hondureña (Honduran Air Force)

Vought F4U-5 Corsair, Fuerza Aérea Hondureña (Honduran Air Force)

      - For SF2, Any and All,

This is a modification of The Mirage Factory's F4U-7 (French Navy version), into the earlier, and almost identical (albiet modified), F4U-5 version as used by the Honduran Air Force in the 1950s and 60s. TMFs original -7 readme is included. This is an SF2 revamp of the version I uploaded a few years ago.

This mod makes use of the latest patch level tweeks for randomization of aircraft serial/ID numbers. So, make sure you're at least at June 2011 or above level. Included are a new SF2-style hangar screen, some weapons, engine sound and a pilot figure. A Userlist is included, even though this is a "Nationalized" version. The WW2-era bombs are NOT included; you can find them in the GunnyPak, or edit the loadout ini to use stock 3rdWire ones, if you have SF2:Is Expansion Pak 1.

This is a COMPLETE aircraft, with almost all the trimmings, ready to unzip and fly away. Many tweeks have been performed on this, mostly by Column5 to the FlightModel. Some data ini mods by me (duplicating the HVAR stations) allow for wingfold and the ordanance to "stay put" the pylons. Canopy & wingfold is activated by manual animation keys; use Shift/0 for the canopy, Shift/9 for wingfold. Obviously, the FAH dosen't have carriers, but research indicated that the wingfold was never disabled. As always, all the external lighting has been updated to be historically/mechanically correct.

As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, please review the Legal disclaimers at the bottom - some changes have been implimented.

Special thanks to TMF, and Sony Tuckson in particular for permission to include all the bits and pieces. Many Thanks man!

      Happy Landings!
      wrench
      kevin stein

(as stated in another recent upload, the proper terrain for it's operation is still in the works)

    7. Bf109g-6/AS, JG1, Spring 1944

      Bf109g-6AS, JG 1, Germany, Early 1945.

In April 1944, JG 1 became the first unit to be equipped with the new Bf109g-5/AS and -6/AS with its uprated DB605AS engine. This entailed the introduction of a new streamlined cowling, compared to the original bulged model used on standard G-5 and G-6 aircraft. As the AS series were intended for high altitude operations, the initial production run were finished in overall RLM 76 pale blue-grey.

Jagdgeschwader 1 was based in Northern Germany on Reich Defence duties (Stab was based at Paderborn) and was commanded at this time by Oberstleutnant Walter 'Gulle' Oesau, whose Green 13 is included in this pack. He was killed on 11th May 1944 over St Vith by P-38s of the USAAF.

You will need the AvHistory Guns pack installed.

      For SF2 only.

    8. Bf109g-10 JG 11 'Kanonenboot'

      Bf109g-10/U4, I./JG 11, Germany, Early 1945.

By this date, JG 11 was equipped essentially with Bf109g-10 and g-14 aircraft. The yellow JG 11 Reich Defence fuselage band should not be confused with the narrower Eastern Front markings. THe yellow rudder should theoretically be accompanied by a yellow band around the nose - the final type of quick recognition markings introduced in early 1945. Needless to say, by this stage, official directives were not always scrupulously respected!

Despite the fact that MG151/20 gondolas were rarely if ever fitted to g-10 type 109s, this aircraft has them fitted as standard for all air defence missions.

      For SF2 only.

    9. Bf109g-10 JG300

      Bf109g-10/U4, 2./JG 300, Borkheide, September 1944.

JG 300 was originally created in July 1943 as a Wilde Sau free-range night-fighter Geschwader, but owing to the high accident rate and the relative lack of success, was
transferred at the very beginning of 1944 to daylight operations.

      For SF2 only.

    10. Bf109g-10 JG 53

      Bf109g-10/U4, JG 53, Kirrlach, February 1945.

By this date, JG 53 was equipped essentially with Bf109g-10 and k-4 aircraft, and had been absorbed completely into the Reich Defence organisation. The black fuselage band was attributed on 20/02/1945 in replacement of the earlier rust-red one.

      For SF2 only.
