    This pack contains the stand-alone version of the O\A-10A Thunderbolt II aircrafts from "Operation Desert Storm: 30th Anniversary". This mod contains accurate ODS livery, nose art and serial numbers from ODS. This is just a sample of what you will find in the expansive "Operation Desert Storm: 30th Anniversary" pack.     Installation...
    ---------------------
    1) Copy the contents of the "To_Mod_Folder" folder into your mod folder and over-write if required.
    2) Update your "...\Flight\SOUNDLIST.INI" with the contents of the "Add A-10 SoundList.txt". Please don't forget to maintain the number sequence in the sound list.
    3) Check, ensure (or update) all the squadrons in this pack is in your "SQUADRONLIST.INI" file. Once you look at that file, you will know what to do. 
    * Please note that some squadrons may have multiple CO planes, this is not a mistake. Rather than just picking one CO, I am respresenting all the COs for that squardon during the period. So both COs could pop up in given scenario. I rather have them than cut them so...it's only a game...

    This pack contains all A-10As serving in Operation Desert Storm with authentic serial numbers. Nose art and other details are my best effort, so it may be off - but it's damn close.
    When we started the ODS 30 project, we wanted to use the stock A-10A Thunderbolts. As I finished the stock A-10A, we decided to switch to Spectre's A-10As...So, the stock A-10A mod was scrapped. Alot of work into this stock version, so I decided to release it as is...
    ~~DO NOT INSTALL THIS MOD INTO ODS 3.0. THAT PACKAGE COMES WITH A VERSION OF A-10A DESIGNED AND CONFIGURED FOR  THE ODS PACKAGE!

    Installation...

    THIS MOD MAY BE POSTED IN OTHER MODS (NO PAYWARE) AS LONG AS THE README IS INCLUDED AND CREDIT FOR THE

    Installation:
    Clean Install only, do not install over old Aircraft Squadron Folders except for the update version.
    Drop contents of the "install" folder into the games root folder. Overwrite if needed.
     
    Included in Extras folder:
    Extra Skins for modding Squadrons if wanted.
    SOUNDLIST.INI to use for reference.
    AIRCRAFTOBJECT.INI with modified WindSound to go with included Sounds (This is Optional) just drop in Objects root.
    SQUADRONLIST.INI and A-10SQUADRONLIST.TXT with corresponding Number sets for Modders.
    Some patches and decals are included for modders.
    Templates will be posted separate.
     
    A special Thanks to Mike (Wpnssgt) for all his work and allowing me to take on this project.
    And to Kesselbrut for giving me his work on the Cockpit.

  4. A-10A's 23rd Wing Pope AFB

    Just a quick work on default TK and TW standard SF-2E A-10A_78 aircraft.
    Just to add to the game a modern HAWG in 2 of it's best liveries.
    Inside you'll find both 23rd Wing squadrons skins,the 74th TFS "Flying Tigers" and the 75th TFS "Tiger Sharks" from Pope AFB.
    These squadrons are also deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan too.
     
    Thanks to TK and TW staff to mod up this plane!

  5. SF2E A-10 series .ini tweaks

    Firstly: This file does not contain an aircraft. Rather it's a tweak made to the existing Third Wire A-10A and A-10A_78, both of which are part of the default planeset that ships with Strike Fighters 2 Europe. I've uploaded it here, because there wasn't a subsection set up specifically for aircraft .ini tweaks Anyway......
     
    SF2E A-10 Tweaks

    Installation: Simply drop the aircraft data files into their matching-named folders.
     
    In Windows XP, the folder path would be:
     
    My Documents/ThirdWire/StrikeFighters2x/Objects/Aircraft.
     
     
    In Windows Vista or Windows 7, the path is:
     
    Documents/<User Name>/Saved Games/ThirdWire/StrikeFighters2x/Objects/Aircraft.
     
    Now that you have some idea as to SF2's file path, you can go onto the next step.....and that's to drop the included A10Engine.wav into the ThirdWire/StrikeFighters2x/Sounds folder. If you don't have one, don't panic, just create one, following the path statement above.
     
    To uninstall: just delete the A-10A_Data.ini, and the A-10A_78_Data.ini, and the game will revert to using the TW default.
