"Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods"
This package contains a new skin for the TMF/MM F4U-4 Corsair. This represents VF-44 "Hornets" based aboard USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CVA-39) on their tour in Korean waters from April, 1953 thru December, 1953 as part of CVG 4.
This skin is designed to be used on the KAW F4U-4/4B pack available at the following url:

This skin is in jpg format, and decal randomization is TRUE. 24 modex and BuNums have been supplied.

F4U-4_Skin_Pack_SF2

This skin pack is intended for use with the F4U-4 included in the F4U pack by Wrench.
They are mostly late 40's to early 50's squadrons and they're not 100% accurate (more like 85% or so).
Squadrons included are:
VF-5B (VF-61)
VF-192
VF-193
VF-791
VF-871
VMF-323
I've also included 4 new napalm tanks of different sizes in zinc-chromate yellow (just for fun!).

*Note: can be used in any PTO centric install, and probably will work in 1stGens as well*
A new skin for Wolf257's Corsair; to be used with my F4U-1D mod available here at CA at the following URL:

This represents F4U-1D Corsairs as flown frum USS Bennington in the later months of the war.
Decal randomization is set to TRUE (which won't work if used in 1stGen installs, but what the hey, right?)
Also included is a 90%-ish SF2 compliant FM in/on/part of the enclosed data ini*, a new 'main ini' (F4U-1D.ini), and an SF2 Userlist.ini (as USMC is considered a 'Seperate Nation' for Export Purposes ). It's advised other USN/USMC Corsairs have the necessary lines added, year adjusted and use this new userlist.
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

= For WW2 PTO Usage ONLY on the TMF/MM Birdcage Corsair!!! =
This is a 'generic' USMC skin and decal pack for the TMF/MM F4U-1 "Birdcage" Corsair. The aircraft is finished in the late 1943 "3 Tone Camo", and has the 3 digit aircraft ID numbering. These numbers represent the last 3 digits of the BuNum, and was the fairly standard way land base USMC squadrons used on their aircraft. The aircraft carries the standard late 43 blue Star-and-Bar.
This skins is in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. Although 'named' for VMF124 (L for Late), it is designed to represent NO particular USMC squadron. It also used the SF2 'time switch' to "turn on" this skin in October, 1943.
A new Data ini is also provided, with changes/tweeks that 'fix' some issues caused by the 5/13 and 7/13 patches. With luck, they won't need messing with again!
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!

A new skin for TMF/Mod Mafia's Royal Navy Corsair Mk.II
If you don't already have it, You can find the aircraft at the following URL:

The skin/decal set herin in is for:
1836 Naval Air Squadron, British Pacific Fleet as based aboard HMS Victorious in 1944, and
possibly through the Wars End.
This will give you a full set, along with the 2 other skins, covering ETO, Indian Ocean (East
Indies Fleet) and Pacific Operations (British Pacific Fleet) of the Royal Navy Corsairs in WW2.
The skin is in jpg format, and Decal Randomization is set to TRUE.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
them.

Prop Fix for TMF Corsairs...
3 bladed props ONLY!!!
Slighyly modified tga will give a more smooth look to the propellers on the following recently released TMF/Mod Mafia Corsairs:
F4U-1 "Birdcage"
F4U-1A

Instructions:
unzip the package to a temp folder, your desktop, or somewhere easy to find.
Then, copy/paste the 3 tgas into the main aircraft folder for the 2 aircraft listed above
You may also want to place them INSIDE the skin folders (I've tested both ways)
NOTE: this will NOT fix any issues on 4 bladded Corsairs (-4, -4B). That appears to be a node issue.
