First Eagles - WWI and Early Years 1914 - 1920

These FMs were developed prior to the Expansion Pack. They won't work well, some won't work at all, with the Expansion pack.

Flight Models for Latons 3D Models.
 
Thankyou to Laton for producing these great early war models, hopefully there will be many more! And its been a real pleasure working with Laton and v.Deutschmark as a team.
 
EWS "Early War Set" as they are "consistent" in terms of plane performance with themselves and the other EWS FMs I have done - as I see it, at least, with gameplay also a factor, and in Hard FM Mode only. There are quite a few differences between Normal and Hard Modes, impossible to have the planes consistent for both modes. However having said that they are certainly flyable in Normal.
 
The pack includes 16 FMs - PfalzEI, PfalzEIII, PfalzEIV, PfalzEV, PfalzEIIIAO, PfalzEIIILO, MSTypeH, MSTypeL, MSTypeLAO, MSTypeLO, FokkerEI, FokkerEIa, FokkerEII, FokkerEIIa, FokkerEIII, FokkerEIIIa.
 
Please contact me on the CombatAce forum if there are any issues.

UPDATE and additions.
 
Flight Models for some of the A-Teams 3D Models, Aladars Dh2, Laton's fokkerD8 and most of Thirdwires planes. This will be the last change, until some time after TKs upcoming addon.
 
This is an update to the previous download, with the addition of 5 2-seaters, PfalzD12, Fokker D8. But there have been quite a few changes to previous versions - see forum topic "What do you think?"
 
Includes 26 FMs - Sopwith Pup, Sopwith Triplane, Fe2B, F2B Brisfit, AlbatrosD3, Dh2, Sopwith Camel, Sopwith Dolphin, Sopwith Snipe, SpadVII, PfalzD3, ShuckertD3, FokkerDr1, PfalzD8,PfalzD12, FokkerD7, FokkerD7F, AlbatrosD5a, Se5a, Spad13, AviatikC2, BE-2D, Bregeut14,DFWC5,RolandC2/Walfisch, FokkerD8.
 
The FMs should be considered beta. They are optimised for Hard Flight Model. The AI is excellent.

1st off …. Tip of the Hat to all the plane makers… thank you for the time and effort your putting in so I can have fun 
 
This campaign has about 60 airplanes in it now. (see note above)
 
I do all the testing on hard FM and all settings to hard. So if things don’t seem even in normal mode that’s why.
 
All of the plane sets have been done to make room for the newest planes that the mod people have available.
 
I have moved the start dates back to October 5th 1915 to make more room for so many early planes and still have time to enjoy and learn each one well.
 
I have redone all the upgrade plane dates so the planes match up as closely as I can. As normal I try and balance what is available. I do my best with what I have.
 
Bomber squads available for the RAF and Germans. (flyable)
 
Fixed a few text entries to docs that were showing wrong versions in game.

1. The Fest is now split into (2) parts to make the campaign work properly.
• One Campaign is RAF vs Germany
• One Campaign isFrance vs Germany.
 
2. Every Fighter Squadron will start from their own base. No base is shared between squads now. ** see the included .psp file for base locations.
 
3. There may be bomber and fighter squads at same bases but not as a norm.
 
4. This campaign uses a large amount of the Flanders Map. The squads are spread out quite a bit so I am hopeful all the squads will see different areas of the map in missions.
 
5. There are no flyable bomber squads at this time.
 
6. I have made a very intensive set of ground war paths so this should make for more ground realism in missions.
 
7. For designing this campaign I used the following:
 
• Firecage FM for the DR1
• Peter01 FM’s for Bortdafarms Planes
• Rotagen’s FM for Borts DIII
• Ver 3.0 FMs for Latons Pfalz and Morane’s
• Hard FM mode for the flight model
• Flanders Terrain by Edward.
 
You do not have to use these add-on FM’s at all, it’s your call. This is only information what I used to test and design with since I get asked a lot.

Ok 1st skin for me on TK's new planes. Here is an diufferent skin for the Red barons plane with different decals and this one has the lighter underside finish on it. I also did some work to have the orig camo show through a bit more so add some over paint look to it. Didn't fade it through alot but just a bit. Also made the eng cowling the off white as in some photos I have seen on web sites and some models out there.
 
Credits to TK and his crew for the original skins of course. :yes:

We had a lengthy debate about what the true colors and
streak pattern should be for Werner Voss' triplane. Everyone
could find examples on the internet somewhere from a good source.
But very often these sources conflicted with one another.
So I could never decide on exactly how Voss' skin should
look. I made many examples. These are four of my favorites.
I will leave it up to the users to decide which one they Like best.
 
The download is pretty chunky (24mg). Sorry about that, but it does
include four different skins. The archive is highly compressed. Let me
know via PM if you have any trouble with it.

Hi all
Not sure which cat these should be in , so i thought as they r for my skins , then the skins section is best
ok in this zip is a cockpit texture for the EIII i guess same for EI & EII
also white decal letters for halb DIII jasta 22 ( they are black now , should be white)
and a new fuse bmp for the jasta 35b DXII, as i noticed today its wheel covers were out of line with the wheel hub :yes:

this is the re-engined version with extended ailerons
I found half a dozen different versions of this aircraft all described as the DIII
most don't fit the statistical descriptions ..but the photos show the extended ailerons larger wheels,
and the engine with a side mounted exhaust sytem running back along the side of the fuselage
and the DII centre section strut configuration with an additional set sloping forward over the engine bay etc...
so here it is....marginally faster and marginally better aileron response..
