About This File

nstallation of the Sentraedi Fighter SU-27K:

The installation procedure is quite normal,
FACILITY:

This SU-27K (SU-33) package is for an SF2 installation. Simply copy and paste the items from the included folders into the corresponding folders contained in your Saved Games > ThirdWire folder

GRADES:
This is a primitive version of the SU-27K Flanker airborne heavy fighter, it is not optimized for ground attacks but can carry a lot of bombs and rockets
the model is a SU-35 casing that we once worked with ALEDUCAT and it was never finished, the controls were optimized for vector thrust so it doesn't move some ailerons, today I finished it as a Sukhoi 27k to share it.
Create a set of classic double rockets for this model.
the chosen cabin is the one created by YEYEYE, the original readme file is added.
The missiles that I chose are from a pack of weapons, I don't know who created them but it is appreciated.
Hope you enjoy.

By pressing the corresponding vectoring keys (vertical thrust) the plane becomes unstable like the SU-57 model, being able to perform the Cobra maneuver.

I had planned to create the characters of the series but unfortunately every day it becomes more difficult for me to finish projects to be able to share them with you, it would be of great help if you followed me on my youtube channel

I could justify the time invested in my ex-wife hahahaha.

I can speak for those of us who are still parents in the process of raising children and I must say that it is difficult to convince the wife of the importance of modeling airplanes versus the daily routine of sharing the obligations of a father, that is why I join your cause friend.:pilotfly:

Unique product. More than 30 years ago, when the Russians needed aviation for "Kuzya", only "dry" (Sukhoi's) people could handle this task.  As a result, a heavy land fighter was dragged onto the deck, and even its horizontal elevators were made folding, otherwise it would not fit.  And in order for the vehicle to somehow take off without the help of a catapult, which they could not build, it had to attach additional front elevators.  As a result - into the air or without a combat load at all or with a minimum amount of fuel and immediately for refueling ...

P.S. I wonder if the moderators will ever have a great idea to take a swing at the Su-34, which in Russia come to replace the Fencer?

Alas, NOT WORKING HERE !

Why?  Everything works as it should, even on my outdated system.  What exactly doesn't work for you?  Maybe decals?

Su-33 and MiG-29K were developed simultaneously. Also, the first fighter to take off from Kuznetsov was modified MiG-23.

Canards were planned to be included on all subsequent Su-27 derivatives.

Kuznetsov has two take off positions, short for light load and longer for full load.

You are right, of course. Nevertheless, this miracle of Soviet technology can hardly be considered a successful and full-fledged type of carrier-based fighter... But, as they say in Russia, if there are no fish in the river, then cancer is also a fish

Su-33 is the first non-American supersonic carrier-based jet, as simple as that. The only other fitting this description is Rafale M, though it came online later

It's all about the constant striving of the Soviets to "catch up and overtake" their ideological enemies.  Usually it meant "show that we can too" or "we have too".  As a result, such bullshit as the Yak-38 aka Harrier-clone, an attempt to repeat the Raptor aka Su-57, and much more, like this window dressing with the alleged presence of carrier-based aircraft on a smelly smokehouse "Kuzya"...

It's amusing how regular military development is portrayed as some convoluted play by Americans.

Soviets had no need for aircraft carriers as Soviet fleet was purely defensive force, not really a blue water navy. Once Soviets started to invest in fleet, the need for actual carriers and carrier aircraft surfaced.

Yak-38 was important machine as it gave much needed experience in VTOL and STOL carrier operations; it was to be replaced by more capable Yak-141 later. Regardless of how good or bad Yak-38 was, it was still a second best VTOL aircraft as all other VTOL projects around the world went nowhere.

Similarly, the one and only non-American nuclear powered carrier is Charles de Gaulle. All others use gas or steam turbines. Compared to British Invincible class carriers or French Clemenceau class, Kuznetsov was more capable in all regards. Even that, Kuznetsov was not really a new design - just a redesigned 1143 project. The actual new, nuclear powered, carrier planned was Ulyanovsk.

Of course, Russian military went in steady decline after 1991, but we will see how well you do once your country collapses
