About This File

All in all, this is a mod that restores the visual effects of Flare according to the photos IRL, you can refer to the screenshot I uploaded.

In addition to purely visual effects, the response to gravity has also been adjusted by the way, so this mod will look more realistic overall.

And of course, this is still a BETA version, I think I need to make further adjustments.

 

Usage:

Copy Effects and Objects folders into your SF2 main folder

Hi. Thank you for sharing this significant effect. Thanks a lot for sharing this beautiful improved effect. I have an issue with it, though. When I use flares, it goes upward instead of going downward. Can you please help me with this issue? Thanks a lot.

Maybe it's because of your flying attitude? If it should fall normally when you are in normal level flight, if you can elaborate more, maybe it can help me clear my mind and solve this problem

Thanks a lot for your reply. Yes, when I fly level, it falls downward, but when I am making a vertical loop, it does not.

doesn't supposed to go up then ? :biggrin:

did it fall eventually or it goes into space !? :blink:

wish you can add the flare sound when we use flares countermeasures

It may cause a loss of 3FPS after continuous release, it doesn't matter to me

This seems to be something that doesn't exist in the game itself, I can't make it out of nothing lol
