SF2 Folland Gnat & HAL Ajeet by Marcfighters 5/1/2026
-For SF2, Full-5 Merged -Recommended
I found it odd that NO ONE had converted this little bird for use in SF2, either in our India/Pakistan mod, or just in general. So, here we are! 2 Complete aircraft for your flying enjoyment!
So, we have both versions of the Folland Gnat, as used by the RAF and some export customers (including India). The other is the HAL Ajeet built for and used by the Indian Air Force,. Mind you, this Gnat and the IAF Ajeet are only the single seat versions. All Indian, Finnish, Yugoslavian serials are 100% historically correct. Just a reminder, this is the SINGLE seat version, =NOT= the two seater T.1 trainer so famously used by the Red Arrows.
Skins and Nations: First name is the folder name. Years indicate 'start date' for the SF2 date switch.
Gnat:
RAF - (no squadron assigned Euro Camo)
Finland - (HavLV 11 Euro Camo 1958)
India - (No.23 Sqdn "Cheetah"1958 NMF)
India2 - (Operational Conversion Unit ? NMF w/spine stripes)
24_IAF - (No. 24 Sqdn "Hawks" 1965 NMF)
India3 - (No. 15 Sqdn, 2 Tone Camo 1970)
Yugoslavia - (Euro Camo, 2 aircraft, 1958)
HAL Ajeet:
2sq_1 - (No. 2 Sqdn Winged Arrows Early NMF)
2sq_2 - (No. 2 Sqdn "Winged Arrows" Late NMF)
India2 - (No. 2 Sqdn "Winged Arrows" Camo <1983)
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All production serials for the IAF are included.
Almost everything is included; a pilot for the IAF, drop tanks, etc. Both birds use a slightly modified version of the stock 3W Hunter Mk.6 cockpit. All weapons and guns used are stock, in-game items. This makes things so much easier. Hangar and loading screens are either new for this mod, or conversions of the 1stGen units to SF2.
On the aircraft selection drop-down screen, you'll see (respectively)
Gnat F.1
HAL Ajeet
