The E-2C-R3.LOD for the E-2C "HawkEye" from
Skunkworks   I tried getting it from the skunkworks and they never replied back. I want to run The Modern warfare series mods(Korea and Tawain) by Spectre.  Anyone have them? Please message me here or reply on this thread thanks!

We don't deal with their stuff here. You maybe SOL.

Is there something wrong with the stock Hawkeye that comes with SF2:NA??? (maybe try a little editing to get that one working)

Yeah I think he should include the stock Hawkeye instead, or learn how to do it, because I don't think capun and company would take too good of a view of it. I mean I don't care much about him myself, and largely stayed off that site, but there is some teeth to an agreement.

Agree with Wrench. You would be better off getting SF2NA and asking for some help updating the campaign/missions with the stock Hawkeye.

I'm not sure I would hold my breath waiting for Skunkworks.

I'm retired now. I may just download the campaigns and take a crack at those updates myself. (Don't hold your breath here, either )

what youre askin is borderline piracy. the lods are the holy of holies, even TK locked his away. you might tweek a skin or ini and call it your own, but lods are firmly their creators babies. full credit to them when used, SOL if permission isnt given.

asking about DAT wont get as much butt chewing though, since the CA community and DAT community dont get along too well (despite many people being members of both)

but dont expect much assistance publically either on DAT issues here at CA.

but swapping to the TW Hawkeye is modding 101 (damn near remedial modding even). that would be alot easier than gettin one of those R4 lods

Yeah. Looks like a good beginner exercise. I'll ping Spectre before releasing anything. I think the only caveat may be the need to change the Hawkeye squadrons presented in the campaign. Given this is a fictional conflict, I would hope no one will mind.

I don't know guys. All I know is the instructions for the mod say the lod is required. I asked for access from the owner, never heard a reply. The mod was done by Spectre.  I don't plan on doing anything commercially, I'm not a pirate. Just want to play the mods put up here.

DAT guys do not want to share their files other place than theirs site. So out of respect no one here is going to do that. Simple courtesy. If someone here is uploading mod saying no share any other place than CA and play it only on Wednesday afternoons, then be it. It is not about piracy, more like decency.

Considering the age of mod; access to DAT "products" (used loosely) was still available. It ain't so any more. They got mad, took their toys and went home. Then built their own version of the Iron Curtain (tm). We don't use their stuff, we don't talk about their stuff, and try not to have any of their stuff (although we do have some ini edits and skins in their own section of the downloads. Use at own risk). In other words, their existence is discouraged.

So, now is the time to start learning basic modding, doncha think? If you don't have NA, well, you're just screwed on the Hawkeye.

But yes, asking for someone share the LOD, is piracy. No ifs, ands, or butts. We don't condone it and will not tolerate it, and it's stated all over this site and has been for the last 15 years, and iirc, in the 'sign up' for when members join CA. I, personally, give ONE and only ONE warning for thing like this. So, consider that done.

Moving along now ...
