Gene_Wolfpack Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Hey folks! I'm pretty new here and still learning the ropes. Could anyone help me out with a graphic glitch on the aircraft? Even though this is my first time modding planes into the game, I made sure to double-check everything so I copied and pasted all the files into the right folders. I'm using yakarov79's Hercules 1.0.0 mod. Everything works almost perfectly, except all the C-130s are missing engine audio (I couldn't find a sound file in the zip), and while the other C-130 variants look fine graphically, the AC-130 is glitched out. I carefully checked, moved files around, and reinstalled it a few times, but I still can't fix it and have no idea what I did wrong. There's one more issue with the helicopters. I'm using guuruu's Helicopters flight model 1.0.1 pack. Everything from the weapons to the helis and sounds is awesome, except... the third pilot is sitting out of position. Sometimes his legs and lower body stick out under the helicopter's belly, or he just hovers in front of the Mi-24's nose. I hope someone can point me in the right direction to fix these bugs. Thanks for reading!
Flanker562 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago This should help with the pilot sticking out of the plane, you need to put this file into the Objects/Pilots folder: FakePilot.7z
Gepard Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Black parts of a plane means, that there are skin files missing or in false formate. 1
yakarov79 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago are you sure you are using my full mod, or did you just copy skins to some older mod? I'm quite sure Dels fixed the problems with bitmaps in his latest release a few years ago.
Wrench Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago black "skins" is not only caused by what Gepard said, but MISmatched skins -- as in those for another mod using a different physical model (LOD) or you've run out of texture memory 1
