JediMaster Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Nice! I've always liked this plane since I first saw it. Quote
FrankTB Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Thanks gabilon this is great, the "the good guys" are fast becoming overwhelmed lately. Quote
+littlesmoke Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 (edited) Thanks gabilon this is great, the "the good guys" are fast becoming overwhelmed lately. yes, actually. I've re-started my campaign after 30+ missions just to add opposing SU27 squadrons! (almost) stock WoE '72 campaign with MiG29 and SU27 upgrades = fun Edited March 3, 2007 by littlesmoke Quote
kazamashin Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I wonder if its possible to have afterburner only when the nozzle is fully retracted. This problem is holding back the F-35 as well. Still nice job on the Yak..another exotic plane for the collection. May i suggest using a modified version of Marc's Su-27 pit or you could even go what-if since the 41 was never made operational service. Quote
+gabilon Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 AFAIK due to the game limitations, its not possible to enable both afterburners and thrust vectoring control at the same time. If you want an "afterburning" Yak-41, you have two options: a) Disable thrust vectoring control. This may be a good option when AI controlled aircraft, as AI dont use VTOL. b) Link thrust vectoring to pitch control, like in scrapper's MIG-29OVT both two options only require little INI file editing. Long life to SFP1! Quote
+Dave Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Good plane my friend. Its really stable in VTOL. Quote
+Spectre_USA Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Snagged it up, will have to see how it fares as an adversary. Probably quite well. I also wanted to let USAMTL know that his Throttle quadrant is mislabeled as a Yoke. Prolly a typo, as the preceding pic in the animation is the yoke. I bet Deb would love you for that... Quote
grumpapotamus Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Nice Job, Any chance of a Yak-38 coming out too? Would be nice with Marcfighter's Kiev class ships. (when they're done.) Quote
Chaser617 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I think Marcello himself is working on the -38 Quote
