Viggen Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Some one is apparently working on it, and he told me that it would be ready in two week's. I remember seeing a Tu-95 in the works too. It also was going to be out in 2 weeks. Quote
+starfighter2 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 (edited) *Tu(2)-128(weeks)* also..... something different - big interceptor: Pasko's "Fiddler" :slow(en): Edited November 3, 2007 by starfighter2 Quote
Viggen Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Holy Crap! I knew the Tu-128 was big but not as big as an airliner! Quote
Atreides Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Goddamn ! I always had a soft spot for her. Me love her long time ! Quote
gerald14 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Hehe 2 weeks means that it is not finish or just to make you happy. :) Quote
+ErikGen Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I did not know that also Pasko was working on the Fiddler... This is mine.. Quote
FastCargo Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Normally I would chastise the new guy for not using the search engine to find out the 'Bear' was a WIP and then close the thread. But the pics of BOTH 'Fiddler' models are looking SWEET!!!!! So I'll leave this one open...cause them pictures are nice.... FastCargo Quote
Lexx_Luthor Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Tu-128 with R-80s and TWO OF THEM That's one of the BIG things I'm missing ...along with B-70 and F-101 no matter what version so I can RiGG it as -A SAC escort fighter. Make both models, erikgen, your canopy frames are two-sided --- PERFECT for flying from inside the model. Pasko usually makes two-sided canopy frames also. This is AwSim stuff. That will be neat with the vee windscreen. The only others we have like that are B-58 and F-106. The stock Tu-22 external model has a problem when viewed from inside, the model vanishes when looking withing 30 degrees of forward. How will TK single handed ever catch up with the Kafka~esque hunger modders of this sim? Quote
+starfighter2 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Picture(s) says more then 10000 words.... WIP - but it's getting there - *2 weeks* Quote
+Dave Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I did not know that also Pasko was working on the Fiddler... Well Pasko's will probably be payware. So don't let that stop you from finishing yours. Nothing wrong with payware. But there is always room for more. So keep up the good work Erikgen. Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Oh yes, don't quit cause someone else is making one. It means nothing. Quote
+starfighter2 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 No need for quiting (who mentioned that anyway?). Erik, please continue your work, looks good. There is enough room for everyone in this game. <More> is always better. Cheers Quote
Viggen Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 That is looking real good. But the Tu-128 needed that many wheels? And I like how you out the OKB emblem on the yoke. Quote
Atreides Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Yeah Erik, beautiful work. Release it when you're happy with it, but please dont quit. Quote
FLT Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 looks outstanding! Really a big interceptor fighter... Quote

I'm not sure but ... reading all this messages ... my impression is that my Fiddler would be considered "a second choice" ... sure i'm wrong. I agree with you ... there is enough room for all of us ... and Pasko work is always the welcome. Quote

+Julhelm Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 As for the guy who wanted the TU-142: I have one modelled and animated, but someone needs to unwrap it and then texture it. So, whoever feels he has the time and inclination to pick up either of these skills, step up. Quote
Viggen Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Negative my friend. Please continue, nothing second choice about it. Definatly. And not all of us can afford Payware anyhow. Quote
Silverbolt Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Negative my friend. Please continue, nothing second choice about it. 2X Quote
