+Dave Posted January 20, 2008 Author Posted January 20, 2008 Well the contrast is still too strong IMO, the light green is too light. But it's just my opinion. Well since it is fading of the aircraft, you can't really judge the contrast because everything sunfades differently. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0538932/L/ Look how bad the sun faded this one. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0169532/L/ This one is really faded. Viggen Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) Don't tell me the Danish were flying the Huns when they were super faded. Edited January 20, 2008 by JA 37 Viggen Quote
+hgbn Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Its hard to say, those OD we had faded very quikly and not two aircraft faded similar, I have seen birds that's were allmost yellow in colour and some that was allmost grey with a greenish undertone Quote
+Dave Posted January 20, 2008 Author Posted January 20, 2008 They sure did. The French and the Turks flew some that were just as bad too. Quote
Viggen Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 They sure did. The French and the Turks flew some that were just as bad too. Air France has got some dirty planes. Could their Huns be any dirtier? Quote
+hgbn Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Don't tell me the Danish were flying the Huns when they were super faded. Yes we did You can call it a adaptive camouflage Quote
ironroad Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) I don't know if this has been posted before, but you know the Hun did not like being painted in "flat" schemes. Around the engine the paint would burn off and on the rest of the plane it would peel off in large sections. Edited January 20, 2008 by ironroad Quote
sparkomatic Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 A bit different but I saw some photos of French Bearcats during the Indo China War that were about as mottled as one can imagine Quote
+Corktip_14 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Well, I must agree and say that those pictures are pretty impressive!! Quote

+hgbn Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 hgbn That looks great, but darken the skin though, its a lime green. Yeah I know, but I have some pics where the org paint faded to something like this. That paint we used was very bad, but hey I can make more which is different in shade Quote
+Dave Posted January 24, 2008 Author Posted January 24, 2008 You can hex edit the current drop tanks to use another bmp. Ping Sundowner, he is the king of hex editing droptanks. Quote

+hgbn Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I can make them both, ones as an Danish bird and the other one as an Turkish, then all you need to do, if you like the one more than the other one is swap the bmp's Quote
