The KB is a work in progress...but we have lives too ya know.

 

I've already started cleaning up some sections...we're trying to find a balance between too many subforums and not having any.

One question that I haven't found an answer for yet: what is the difference between "Wings over Israel" and "Combat over Israel"? Some forums state that these are the same, but specs for the later claims that it runs on XP and Vista, while WoI seems to require some modding/tweaking in order to run. Is CoI the promised re-work for Vista, or are we still waiting for that one???

Most likely the latter. Apparently CoI is just WoI, but sold on a CD instead of online distribution...at least from the impression that I got. Not sure about it myself though, published specs can be deceiving (especially if handled by a third party distributor).

I was considering painting some alternate tails for the WOI F-16A, but I just found that the game already contains a few nice ones. Especially the Flying Dragons look slick. Here are some pics.

They have the "First Fighter" and their red-striped tails, so probably the most famous israeli tailmarking is covered .

 

Still missing the 105 Tayesset though, if you would want to make a quite spectacular artwork that would perhaps be something to go for http://kits.kitreview.com/f16drveiewdw_1.htm . The squadron is perhaps best known for being the only Israeli operator of the Super Mystére, but they upgraded to F-16 Brakeet, the indigenous SEAD-variant, in the early 1990's and have flown them since (according to Israeli aviation writer Shlomo Aloni, nothing is ever sure about the IDF/AF ).

what can i do to make a a/g load in the sa'ar model since all i have are a/a weapons and, with that plane i suck flying escort missions?
