Guest MrMudd Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Disclaimer: I thought i would clarify a few things. The sim does not have this level of detail for the AI's in the communication procedures. However my sim experiance is "ONLINE PLAY" and as such, as many of you would agree. "immersion" is what sims try to duplicate. And that is why we do it. We want the feeling of really being there in the heat of combat. even if its a virtual one With your Friends in an online Voice comms software enviroment My articles are to demonstrate how this sim can provide tools for a realistic settings of a warfighting enviroment. While passing on to you the real World Mindset and procedures to a casual understandable level. Bare with me and feel free to critique this not so young inspireing writer! AirBiskit Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Got a question on building missions. At waypoints, can you assign speed or time-on-top at that waypoint? Excellent preview/report, by the way! :) Quote
hydrosludge Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003  can you get rid of the flying tiger teeth? Quote

Guest MrMudd Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Thanks Yojimbo! However, real life has me in a bind. Kids start school in 4 hours after a long summer Break, i'll try to get back into the heat of the action as soon as possible! I enjoy writing them as much as you guys enjoy reading them! Quote

Guest MrMudd Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Got a question on building missions. At waypoints, can you assign speed or time-on-top at that waypoint? Excellent preview/report, by the way! :) Yes if you look closely to the Vehicle and waypoint screen shot You can set "Action" at the waypoint. You can set the speed of travel And you can adjust accordingly the time of arrival, ETA, time on target etc. This is invaluable when timeing is an issue. Quote
Top_Gun Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 these are some Kick A$$ stories Mr Mudd. again, I appreciate the time and effort you are putting into these  Quote
30mmKiller Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 So let me try to undestand this while you are playing the game you will here radio chatter on your side when your doing campaign missions and single misions? Like IL-2, only this time in English not Russian or German. Quote

hydrosludge Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 Mudd thanks for the disclaimer, but your scenarios will help sell the game. It appears to be a game that immersion is required and inevitable. I have not had this much interest in a game since RTCW. I will buy a copy and probably get my ass kicked by you online. Thank you for the entertainment Quote
