Sorry, there's no thunderclap sound to accompany the visual effect, as presently, no provision for adding new sound events exits. Besides, you wouldn't hear thunder from the cockpit, though a static "popping" sound (as one might hear over the radio or ICS due to EMI) might be somehat more realistic. That's a great job!!!! 5min to take a picture?! 5 minutes isn't bad. I have two other modders beta testing the mod, and one reported that he's yet to see any ligtning effects, at all, and he's had it for a couple of days.
+Typhoid Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 awesome!!!! for a sound within the aircraft - a nice "thump" when it hits the plane and then all the lights, radios, instruments go dark................ had that in the E-4B.
+drdoyo Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Looks really good Ed. Ed's correct, you usually don't hear thunder from the airplane. However when you do get hit by lightning it sounds and looks like one of the old Polaroid camera flashbulbs going off.
