Nice to see that the XC-99 finally made it to Wright-Patt. It sat at Kelly for a long time.

It's sad to see that's how it looks now. I read an article about it in IAPR I think a few months ago.

A B-36 turned into a massive cargo plane. You can see how thick the wings were on the side of the fuselage.

Is that a Flogger behind the torn up transport?

I was just about to ask. but being in the US, I think it's an F-102 or F-106.. unless you've captured MiG's.

it's a Convair graveyard! then again, I may be wrong.. maybe it is a MiG. LOL.

Being that the airfield is Wright-Patterson where the USAF museum is located, I'd be willing to bet it is a MiG-23. Note the dark grey radome and camo on the fuselage. I'll go even further and speculate that it's ex-Egyptian.

We've had several MiGs in our hands over the years. We even own several MiG-29s that we bought from Moldova a bunch of years ago. Pitty they didnt reactivate an Aggressor unit with them.

I couldn't figure out what you guys were talking about. I was gonna ask if it was one of those snaps where you have to stare at it long enough before you see it, and even then it's usually a sailboat.
