Seasoned Wings Over Europe:

4 seasons full pack

 

Environmental addon

for Wings Over Europe

(patched to Oct08)

 

This package includes all the files required to transform default summer Germany terrain into full 4 seasons one.

 

All four seasons higher resolution textures, all the ground objects, trees, cities and farms are included. No need to d/l anything other, should work out-of-the-zip. Includes the more realistic scaled trees and revised Forests and farms v 2.0 mod. 3 levels of detail to choose from.

Ah shoot.

 

I was all hungry and saw "seasond wings," and started to salivate as I clicked the link.

 

I kid, I keed!

 

Looks like a very cool dealio, can't wait to get home and give it a try. I just hope I can outsmart it into my mega-install...

This is truly amazing. Look at those skyscrapers in the cities!!!!

 

I hate to be the one to report this, but there is one bad tile. Its a coastal tile, and it is bad on at least the winter and spring tile sets. I don't have a shot at the moment, but if you fly along the coast you are sure to see it. Basically it looks like a inland tile jutting out into the water.

I'll check the tiles C5, but make sure you don't use Brain32's GermanyCE.TFD file! He introduced one extra coast tile IIRC in his great HR repaint

 

@Spectre_USA -In case of problems, shoot me a PM, but knowing what your mega-install is gonna be, there shouldn't be much troubles I guess

is this working with the nato fighter 3 installation?

 

Should work without problems, as this replaces the terrain textures and objects only. You'll just have to overwrite the Brain32's tileset, tod and ini files that's included with NF3. And delete the GermanyCE.TFD file if present in you GermanyCE folder

No, lights on the airfields is different mod. This one is just about the natural environment.

I've checked First Eagles EXP1 ground objects and haven't found any trace of such feature.

 

Would be great IMO, maybe in next patches?

This is a great addition to NF3. The only problem I'm having is when I put the high detail .tods into the GermanyCE folder the game crashes to desktop after 80% with a graphics engine.dll message. Copying the medium or low detail .tods back over won't correct the problem, the whole GermanyCE folder has to be replaced by the original saved copy and the mod reinstalled. As the default is medium detail it then works fine.

Am I doing something fundamentally wrong? I'm a relative newcomer to the WO* series and not used to the open architecture of the game, so I'm maybe not doing something I should?
