pablo10692 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Sometime ago, someone was doing some thing really close to this, but it was to the Tomcat. And was huge. Quote
+Spillone104 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Sometime ago, someone was doing some thing really close to this, but it was to the Tomcat. And was huge. That method was by adding an engine to simulate the booster and was used with the F-14 by CrimsonRoamer. My method instead use the gun recoil to produce thrust. Quote
Rambler 1-1 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) That's interesting. I was lying in bed thinking of an F-14 with some sort of booster for a vertical climb to intercept bombers, and I thought of using gun recoil to make the thrust for the boosters, rather then another engine. Very cool that somebody went and did it! Nice job! Edited April 17, 2009 by Rambler 1-1 Quote
Gr.Viper Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 My method instead use the gun recoil to produce thrust. Damn... That's what I wanted to do for a fictional WWI plane a year and a half ago. Too bad I had no skills at that moment. Quote
