scouserlad13 0 Posted June 10, 2009 that would be such a fun job working on an aircraft carrier. Especially with the US. ON board with Hornets taking off on deck, man what an experience that must be. charlielima 328 Posted June 10, 2009 (edited) If thats the day I think it was, I was on the Oly watching the Midway get blue water over the bow. when the front of the boat got out of the water they would punch 2 F-4s off the bow cats and spot 2 more on the cats while the bow was "wet". If you look closely you'll see an A-7 wing in the spray, and just think of the A-6 spotted in front of the one in the center forward of the deck...... yea, a little bit of corrosion control work for the next month.............
