+Dave Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Talk about a person who is an influence on rock and roll. Can't get much bigger than Les Paul.
Rambler 1-1 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 A Guitar God climbs the Stairway to Heaven... RIP
Lt. James Cater Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Another irreplaceable legend passes on. Even though i've always prefered Strats, i always had much respect for the Les Paul guitar as one of the great instruments. As incredible a guitarist Les Paul was, he was also an early pioneer in studio multitracking.
+MigBuster Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Sad news - but he had an exceptional innings The Les Paul Standard was my all time fave - have owned a few too.
+JediMaster Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Well, at least he led the kind of life most can only dream of...long, significant, and to be remembered long after his passing.
Jimbib Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 A legend has indeed passed. Just bought a Gibbo LP this evening in fact.
