looking for "free" 3D models to use in another Freeware sim!

Hello Guys,

 

I'm Stef, from the FreeFalcon5 development & beta team. We are working on massive upgrades of the combat flightsim Falcon 4.0. My link

lately we have upgraded our GFX engine and now we can also use a bit higher poly models and textures in the sim.

 

our problem is that we have not really a 3D modeller in these days in the team and we are desperately looking for 3D models that we can use for free in our lovely freeware sim. sure the artists of the models will be listed in the games credits, what else!

 

 

I have seen very good 3D models in your download section, so I'm asking you guys kindly if you could help us out a bit with some of your great models.

 

we are especially looking for:

 

MiG-21s

MiG-23s

MiG-29s

SU-27s

Su-30s

F/A-18A

F/A-18C

F/A-18D

F/A-18E

F/A-18F

E/A-18G

 

but we are happy with what ever we can get at the moment.

 

would be wonderful if some of you guys could suppport us with some of your great 3D models!

Contact Marcelo from MarcFighters, and BPAo from the Mirage factory. They both have accounts here, and produce models in all the categories you've mentioned, except for the MiG-21PF-'21bis, which are proprietary ThirdWire models (my apologies if I've left anyone out).

Inskyeteam is remaking the 27 family up to 47, yes you have read right the berkut, a Su-33 and the ub version is WIP too

For the MiG-21 there is only 1 free model available (as far as I know)

It´s the MiG-21F-13 from Team Mirage Factory.

The other MiG-21 Models available are all based on Thirdwire Models.

Well, the model for thirdwire series is distributed for free

it doesn't mean one can use it for other simulations

anyway, to use it in other games would require some work from original 3 model which is never provided in the pack...

Reverse engineering is frowned upon. Telling others that you are doing it is not smart.

@ russo I have a neraly comlpeted model on my disk of the UM, so hope our projects will not colide..

 

Mine is planed as nearly teh sam detail level like my Su-33UB

Looks realy nice, try not to waste to much polys on parts wich are hidden, but this is realy good!
