The Chengdu J-10 (simplified Chinese: ??; traditional Chinese: ??; pinyin: Ji?n Shí, meaning "Annihilator (Fighter) Ten") is a multirole fighter aircraft designed and produced by the People's Republic of China's Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation (CAC) for the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). Known in the West as the "Vigorous Dragon", the J-10 is a multi-role combat aircraft capable of all-weather day/night operation, that the PRC's People's Daily has compared to the F-16 and Mirage 2000.

1, unzip the J-10A.rar

 

2,Copy ALL files from J-10A folder to :

 

SF/WOE/WOV/WOI\Objects\aircraft

 

3,copy Flightengnie.ini to:

 

SF/WOE/WOV/WOI\Flight

 

4,add weapons in weapons' folder to you weapondate.ini

 

5,then............enjoy it

I think the tanks textures are missing in the weapons folder in your file, could you upload these, please?

And thanks for adding the central tank, I've been waiting for it since the very first version you shared with us.

unfortunately in the weaponspack 2.52 are only the tanks J10Tank/J10WT and NOT the 10Tank/10WTank the difference are the new tanks are mapped in a other way so the skins from J10Tank/J10WT dont fit , but if there are no skins available i make my own , it is not a big problem

the seat is part of the model and so there is no extra seat , if you like to change the seat you have to make some editing in the data.ini and add a new seat

no because im using it in SF2E as well and the seat is showing with out any problem , did you change something on the .ini´s ??? if not try to install it again

Tried deleting the aircraft, restarting the PC, then loading the game without it, then adding the aircraft again (not touching anything) and still no seat. No decals either - neither before, nor after the reinstall. I have successfully added many Gen 1 aircraft to Gen 2 game and got used to it, so I do not think I am missing something. Can't believe I am helpless here

sorry my mistake , i just installed the aircraft as it was and a seat was not included therefor i asumed the seat is part of the model , but i was wrong you need the mb10 seat i dont know where i got it from but here you go

 

with regards to the decals im fighting my self for the first time with no result i have no clue what the h... is going on here if i find a solution i will post it

I'm sure it's just that the DecalMaxLOD needs to be set higher than 1.

yes ,you have to edit the MeshName= from fus to nose , thats it

Just wondering I saw a picture somewhere with the J-10 having wingtip rails. Any way I could do this?

Pylons can be added to anything (as an example, check out ndicki's Rhodesian Hunter) but take a look at the wingtips on the J-10A and you'll see that they are cut back and not suitably 'square' enough to take wingtip mounted rails.
