SayethWhaaaa Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Every time I've flown in an aircraft, the number one rule the pilots have always told me to follow was "Don't touch nuthin'". Seems like this guy may have broken that rule... http://www.news.com.au/travel/story/0,28318,26292521-5014090,00.html Quote
Rambler 1-1 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 coulda been worse... at least he didn't grab the joystick! I went for a flight in an O-2 recently (an L-19 for us canucks), and the first thing the pilot said was "Don't touch anything. Can you handle aerobatics?" Quote

+Typhoid Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 we had a Navy Captain (surface puke) on an orientation ride do the same thing, from a Tomcat! Quote
Dave63 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Usually, that is part of the egress briefing. A/C commander, "DON'T TOUCH THE EJECTION HANDLE unless I tell you!" followed by "If I have to tell you twice, you will be talking to yourself..." Quote
ezlead Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I used to tell ALL my right seaters in the brief,If you hear me say Eject,Eject,Eject! Don't bother to look over and say "WHAT"!. All you'll see is a black smoking hole where I used to be setting. Oh yah and it will get very windy and noisy. Quote
smokey799 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 "Don't touch anything. Can you handle aerobatics?" Okay! Yes! This is going to be great! It's been way too long since I've flown upside down. Quote
