F-16C Barak Heyl Ha Avir (IAF) for WOI


F-16C Heyl Ha Avir (Israeli Air Force) for WOI

I. This mod is written for WOI

II. This is a mod to represent the F-16C, as it is flow by the IAF.

III. I used the great F-16A_blk15-belge LOD of the Mirage Factory (thanks for the permission to use it), added TK's original flightmodel of the F-16A and modded it to fit the F-16C data, gave the flares and chaffs an other ejection direction, made the frontgear stearing etc. Then i modded TK's original cockpit and avionics in that way, that now BVR missiles are available. The Radar modi now are displayed in the radar screen (not only Air anymore, but RWS,TWS,ACM,LOCK)

Then i asked Alejandro, wheter he could make a new lod file which contains antennas and a modified tail section similar to PeacePumas chilean F-16C. He made it for me, gave it a different color, so that i was able included it in the israeli bird. Finally i took Wilcos F-16 skin of the 115. Squadron, modded it a little bit.

All this parts i puzzeled together to have a israeli F-16C Barak. To say it clearly: I made only the finish, only approx. 1% of the job. The other 99% are made by Mirage Factory, TK, Alejandro and Wilco. And they did a great job!

1.unzip all files into your Aircraft folder

So, I guess that means I can scrap my F-16C... :grin: Anyway, great work! :good: I already got some skins for the Barak, but I'll have to check whether they need to be tweaked or not. Stay tuned..

Always interested in F16's. Beautiful new one, thanks, must have been quite a job with all those tweaks.

Just one question (seems to be unable to attach a pic): I have another pilot aboard, sitting in the middle

of the fuselage with his legs sticking out of the bottom. Same problem with the FACH Viper.boredom.gif

Any idea ?

Yep you need to use the pilot that came with the original TMF plane. I also just set this up for SF2: Israel.....

A pilot in the middle can happen if you have not put the AntBLK50IAF.lod file in the aircraft folder. (Not in the F-16C folder!!!)

The tail section is covered by this lod file because i wanted to have a better tail container and the typical F-16C antenna at the back. I used the fake pilot methode to place it there. If the game cant find the fake pilot file (AntBlk50IAF.lod) it will draw the stock pilot.

 

By the way, the Brakeet (F-16D) i also reworked, and if this is finished i think i will do a rework of the over sensitive F-16B we still have for download.

The file does not contain "AntBLK50IAF.lod" file anymore, I see it was updated yesterday...

Ups. AntBLK50IAF.lod should have been replaced by AntF-16CBarak.lod. I have forgotten to include it in the rar file.

 

Sorry my fault!!

 

Upload the correct file now.

I'm sure you already was aware of this... The engine nozzle was not moving at all. I looked through the data.ini and found that an adjustment was needed. You were missing the "reverseanimation=true" and the "nozzleanimation=10" instead of 1

 

NozzleAnimationID=10

ReverseAnimation=TRUE

 

I also change the body vortex emitter to the "F16LexEmitter" that came with WOI, make it a better visual vapor.

 

(Left side) example:

 

HasVortexEmitter=TRUE

VortexEmitterName=F16LexEmitter

VortexPosition=-1.40,1.50,0.00

VortexG=4.0

 

 

Ok, I have screen shots put unable to past it on here, anyone know how?

 

The image is in Bitmap image, what is the conversion needed to paste it on here?

Ace. In a future update i will include the nozzle movement and will also change the lines for the vortex emitter to use the WOI standard.
