+LloydNB Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Ludo Great additions. I particularly like the squadron markings on the nose gear doors. I'm looking forward to them. Lloyd Quote

+paulopanz Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 You read in my mind Ludo .... What about some blue Mistrals, too? I haven't well understand (I have to study ..) wich were the differences with stock Vampires made in UK ... I wait for Your decals. Paul Quote
Wrench Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 So, what IS a Vampire in French??? looking good guys! wrench kevin stein Quote
+ludo.m54 Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 Hi, The main difference is the engine : De Havilland Goblin for the Vampire and Hispano-Suiza Nene for the Mistral. And in french : Vampire is...................... Vampire... And Mistral is a wind (in southern France...) Paulo : what do you think about this decals : The original : My decals Ludo Quote
+paulopanz Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 The tail is perfect! If it's not a decal I need the skin to copy. The "5" is USAF amarillo (?) not match. The "N" is OK. The "M" is slightly different ... Paul Quote
+paulopanz Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Hi Ludo, Here we are my friend ..... My skins are not high-rez (if not needed) on the gear door there is a decal Nose tail .... I think we need only other squadron letters/numbers here (a lonly single aircraft is never useful ...) Have You somethig for this, too? The Mistral had different jet intakes. Have You some pictures? There is a man in Italy who could do the job .... Paul  Quote
+ludo.m54 Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 Hi, I will do a complete EC 1/5 decals set for tonight (and may be for the EC 3/5, also camo Vampires), for the Aéronavale, I have to find more photos and profiles to indentify aircrafts numbers etc... (It should take more time) Ludo Quote
+Soulfreak Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 (edited) Great work Ludo!!!! EDIT: Maybe we have a chance, that you make swiss Vampires too? Edited June 9, 2010 by Soulfreak Quote
+paulopanz Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 The two green skins + 2/7 nice (3 skins) are almost ready to upload. Something about the navy one, Ludo? Quote
Wilches Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 For making the Mistrals, just remove the two intake plates. Although the real Mistral has a large engine exhaust and some others diferences, it's a good start. Quote
