+Cliff7600 Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 D8 !!! Very cool job ...if you're able to do it Quote
Stingray72 Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I can say, without a doubt, that I would never be able to do that job. The highest I have ever climbed on my own was on the USCG Barque Eagle, some 140 feet in the air. I am afraid of heights, and it took a lot to get me to work aloft, and in the end I was never comfortable, but I could work. This is something else man lol, I could never be paid enough to go to the top and back!!!! ~Stingray Quote
Slartibartfast Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Does a parachute come as standard equipment ??? Quote

GwynO Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Even John Wayne wouldn't take that job! Don't do it! Quote
Gr.Viper Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 If you're into that sort of jobs check out Worst Jobs in History series with Tony Robinson aka Baldric from Blackadder. Quote
JediMaster Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I have a cunning plan...I'll climb to the top of a 1763ft mast... Quote
Gr.Viper Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 They did get him to climb a steeple, a mast, walk the chains of a suspension bridge and climb a buiding using a +1 floor fire ladder. Also featured were dancing ankle deep in urine, gutting sheep for violin strings and taking punishments for loud women. "Oh, sir. It'll be years before I can go back to shoveling dung again." BTW, the video says that for the first 1600ft they take an elevator. Quote
