A Job for James Cater

Recommended Posts

I can say, without a doubt, that I would never be able to do that job. The highest I have ever climbed on my own was on the USCG Barque Eagle, some 140 feet in the air. I am afraid of heights, and it took a lot to get me to work aloft, and in the end I was never comfortable, but I could work. This is something else man lol, I could never be paid enough to go to the top and back!!!!

If you're into that sort of jobs check out Worst Jobs in History series with Tony Robinson aka Baldric from Blackadder.

They did get him to climb a steeple, a mast, walk the chains of a suspension bridge and climb a buiding using a +1 floor fire ladder. Also featured were dancing ankle deep in urine, gutting sheep for violin strings and taking punishments for loud women.

"Oh, sir. It'll be years before I can go back to shoveling dung again."

BTW, the video says that for the first 1600ft they take an elevator.
