+daddyairplanes Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 (edited) If you have XP then you wont have this problem. You're not running DX10 thus why it doesnt show. but i have vista and it shows in high FPS situations (engaging enemy forces, low level around an airfield) but is normal otherwise (cruising to the objective at altitude) could this info be of any use, or am i screwy like usual? and no, my options ini doesnt force DX9. +Spectre_USA Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Nice that at least this bug will be fixed. Anyway, did anyone noticed that now the AI aircraft just disappear at waypoint 8 instead of landing? In both campaigns and single mission. Or how the engine sound is played at less than half the normal speed. Noticed at first sight after passing from SFP1 oct.08 to SF2 with full titles and expansions. Alex Yes to the disappearance, did not notice the waypoint 8 bit just at some point, >poof<. Thaz messed up. Will look into the sound issue. Quote

SFP1Ace Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I'm like 8th day into a campaign (Germany '79) and the weather is the same since day 1 (scatterred). Shouldn't it have changed by now? Anyone else experiencing something similar? Quote
+eburger68 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 SFP1Ace: Folks have been complaining about non-changing weather in campaigns ever since the Jun2010 patch. I've noticed, strangely enough, that if I customize the weather in Single Missions (Create a Mission), any campaign that I start has that particular weather permanently. Thus, for example, if Single Mission weather is set to Broken, I only get Broken in a campaign that I subsequently start. If the Single Mission weather is set to Random, however, then I get changing weather conditions in the campaign. Unfortunately, changing the weather back to Random in the middle of a campaign locked on one weather type doesn't restore random weather conditions to the campaign. Eric Howes Quote

I'll make sure to set weather to random for single missions before starting new campaign. Can I assume TK has been informed about it? Quote
+eburger68 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 SFP1Ace: I haven't posted anything over at the 3rd Wire forums. Test this on your system and see if you get the same results. If you do, then we should report it. Eric Howes Quote
SFP1Ace Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 (edited) Will do! UPDATE: Unfortunately, no matter what I try, the weather remains static :(. I tried deleting campaign in progress and starting a new one with single mission's set to random. I even tried launching game from other, unmodded exes (My SF2:Europe install is heavily modded, other - Vietnam, Israel and SF2 are at stock level ATM) - no joy, every campaign is the same - all have static weather.... +SidDogg Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Hey. I was checking the screenshots over there... I noticed the formation dynamics. ...Is it true that they are greatly improved??? because i would LOVE to know. SidDogg Quote
