Laid off yet again

6 months starting a new job and bang, found out yesterday. This time due to automation.

Sorry to hear that bud. Remember the old adage: "though one door may close, two more will assuredly open". I recommend freshening up your resume, applying for UI to hold you over for awhile, and starting your job search over again.

Soon, all of these companies that have laid off much of it's workforce, will find out that with their services will no longer be in demand due to people having no money to spend on luxeries.

I recently lost a contract and had to lay off the entire team. They were all re-hired by another company before I could even finish out-processing them. So there are still good opportunities for those with the skills and positive attitude.
