+Stary Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 why faked colours? because it gives me fun and I wanted such slightly insane cartoonish effect
Slartibartfast Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 They look very good even if its fake colours lends a more oil-painting style to the pictures...
+daddyairplanes Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 sort of looks like the light up paintings at the mall, where the water is glowing and moving...
+ST0RM Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I've got to learn HDR. Great work on the colors. Interesting look for photos. -Jeff
Viggen Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Kind of looks like something Van Gogh would have painted. Very impressive!
+Stary Posted June 27, 2012 Author Posted June 27, 2012 Kind of looks like something Van Gogh would have painted. Very impressive! re-read the topic's description Viggen that's exactly the effect I wanted to achieve
Silverbolt Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 great effect, i just dislike the soul effect it gives to objects in the edge of the sky, but it still perfct.
+Stary Posted June 27, 2012 Author Posted June 27, 2012 Yuri I still learn taht program, so I have no idea if the effect can be reduced with such bright intense scenes, from what I've read about HDR/LDR some do this on purpose for ekhm, artistic effect
+Sundowner Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Love it m8, never be afraid to try something different.
+Fates Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 True HDR requires 3 Bracketed images. Most simple use Tone Mapping to create the effect from a single images. The "Soul Imaging" as it was refereed to can be minimized when tone mapping. Here's a couple of My images that were tone mapped to achieve a similar effect. BTW Stary,,,, Great Work~!
Silverbolt Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Beautiful images Fates! Here are some photos i shoot and edited with my WP7, not good as you guys, but it's what i can do with little time and low income hehehe. More on thread's purpose: Deep Purple Feelings: tried at night, and it's crappy- 1
+Stary Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 like your angles Yuri! Interesting colour manipulations @Fates -here are couple "true" HDR ones I took yesterday -3 images usually with +-1.0 EV or +-1.3 EV steps, combined in EasyHDR Basic using some of program's preset settings: I start to like this technique, need dig it more. Check those awesome examples: http://www.toxel.com/inspiration/2008/11/15/beautiful-examples-of-hdr-photography/ Stary
