The "Dhimari and Parani Air Forces of the 21st Century" Thread

Recommended Posts

A delicate armistice reigns over the Empire of Paran and the Kingdom of Dhimar. Both air forces patrol the border securing that the other side does not break the fragile peace in the region. Sometimes, pilots get too eager, flying along each other within Sidewinder-Range.

At the end of 2008, a dhimari border patrol got visual contact on a parani squadron using the SU-27. Being regarded as a result of a sunstroke, the dhimari air force command did not take further actions in this case. In the beginning of 2009, reports of contacts with parani Flankers, using photographs as evidence, forced the high command to act. Already existing planes had to be upgraded to stand a chance against that new kind of threat and outdated planes needed to be replaced.

Contracts with the US and other allies, known as the "Weapon for Blood-Policy" assured the dhimari air force the reception of some of the most modern fighter planes actually existing.

At the end of 2009, a dhimari UAV was shot down by a parani plane. But this matter was classified in order to keep the armistice running. The last pic shot by the UAV was from a SU-35 with parani markings, covering the SU-35 that knocked out the UAV.

Dhimar and Paran are on the verge of a new war...

That one is great mate! Was thinking of something similar.

Hope that some more birds for both air forces find their way in here.

Go ahead, I think that ValAstur won't mind it either :D

Of course I don't mind! I created this thread because the idea was to have people around to contribute, The more the better! Maybe we even manage to get enough planes and objects to even create a new campaign based on that conflict.

I'm also thinking of some navy action with dhimaris and paranis.

How about a parani PAK-FA or a MiG 1.44 (Heberth )?

Dhimari Navy F/A-18E and F?

Feel free to contribute

I made a Parani J14 with a digital camo skin some time ago. Now I think that some splinter skin would be better.

How about your Rafale for Dhimar or the J-14 for Paran?

Was thinking about a roundel for the Royal Dhimari Navy. What do you think about this one?

View File [Fictional] Fiat G.55 Centauro for Strike Fighters 2
Fiat G.55 Centauro for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a simple mod of Veltro2K's Fiat G.55 Centauro to create a fictional Fiat G.55 Centauro in service with the Turkish Air Force in the 1944-1949 timeline. Also included is a Parani Army Air Force skin (in fact, this mod is set up as a Parani aircraft).

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the Centauro folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the Centauro folder into your Decals folder.
      3. From the SOUNDS folder drag and drop the Bf109G folder into your Sounds folder.
      4. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop all three folders into your Weapons folder.
That's it, although you might want to use the WW2 pilot of your choice. Please note that the 3D model has a tiny bit of 'decal bleed' on the port side of the nose.

      CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.
Thanks to Veltro2K for making the G.55 Centauro 3D model.
Thanks to Charles for the original skins and also for the flight model.
Thanks to Kesselbrut and Capun for the cockpit.
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.

Just as the operation Desert Thunder began, the confident and proud forces of Dhimar and USA launch into the battlefield over Paran. An enormus aluminium cloud composed by F-4s, A-4s and B-57 crossed the frontline to bomb the heart of Parans military infrastructure, not knowing what was waiting for them...

Within minutes, all squadrons that didn't drawn quickly from the strike, dissapeared from the radar. Those who managed to return to allied soil witnessed enormus explosions, planes vanishing... After hearing what intelligence reports had to say, a new installarion of extraordinary cannons was built deep in Paran soil, cappable of accelerating rounds to enormus speeds and tear down any air unit in a 80km range. Something must be done about it if they want to win the war...
Thats what happened when I put this experiment in the desert terrain and played a campaign hahaha. Here is more footage of it for the ace combat fans:

View File [Fictional] Sukhoi Su-24P 'Fencer' for SF2
Sukhoi Su-24P for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a simple mod of Veltro2K's Su-24 'Fencer' to create a fictional Su-24P in service with the Republic of Paran Air Force in the 1980-2020 timeline.
Please note that this Su-24P is released 'as is' (in response to a request) and it really needs some additional work on loadouts and the skin. In addition, the 3D model unfortunately has some 'rope' issues so you might want to turn shadows off.

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the Su-24P folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the Su-24P folder into your Decals folder.
      3. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop the PTB-3000P folder into your Weapons folder.
      That's it!

Special thanks to Veltro2K for bringing so many cool aircraft to Strike Fighters including this one.
