Test pilot Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, Brigadier John Selak, announced on his Facebook page first photographs Croatian MiG-21 in Ukraine with which these days are doing test flights before final acceptance. According to unofficial information, the maintenance and modernization of all three aircraft will be in Croatia during the celebrations of the Day of the Air Force and Air Defence in December.

Yes the only known upgrades are tho the navigation and comunication, no "abillity" upgrades... (BTW, the middle antena is there from the 2003 upgrade)

Only the navigation and comunication systems are upgraded (probably) and we will stick to the R-60 (also probably).

Last thing you want or need is to spend millions on better cockpits and radars to have them falling out of the sky due to wing cracks or something.

One Croatian MiG-21 UMD had an emergency landing because of the glass falling off...
