+gterl Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 not really....just a couple of changes here and there Quote
+gterl Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 Just a small update: - Currently adding rivers (and flattening the riverbeds on the height-map) - Adding more static stuff (new objects from Geezer) - Ships now static as objects (otherwise are showing up on landroutes as 'trucks') - Adding bit of sight-seeing (castles, houses, farms) - Added one airfield in Blighty (just for the fun of it) and a couple of towns, small islands, etc. Upcoming: - Bridges (ahhh everywhere) - Bunkers (ahhhh everywhere) - More sightseeing - Static airships (in the air, apart from the ones on the airfields on the German part) - Static truck convoys - More forests & small / short rivers 2 Quote

If the upgraded art is of any interest to you, contact me and we can figure out if the new stuff could drop into your Flanders effort. Quote
FrankTB Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 If you two guy's end up getting together on that it would be totally awesome! Quote
+Geezer Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 The Italy theater was superb, and this looks like it will equal or surpass it. Impressive! 1 Quote
+gterl Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 Still a long way to go Adding bridges everywhere (not only the big ones as in the above screenies, but also the small ones)....ongoing The cliffs do look good on the screenies but flying above them...well I'm still not too much impressed. Problem is finding the right spot where to change from grass to chalk....ongoing Added already a lot more of AAA...ongoing Adding more stationary ships...ongoing Adding sightseeing spots (churches, castles, etc.)...ongoing Adding more 'no mans land' and changing to a less fix pattern...done Adding more forests...ongoing Changing the water color (ocean, straight o' Dover, not the lakes)...to do Adding a least one airfield in England (training, testbed for ground objects, etc.)...done Improving the Zeppelin aerodromes with more ground objects....to do etc. etc. it never ends.....and by changing stuff in Flanders I find new things to change/add in Italy....ohhh my Quote
+Geezer Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Added already a lot more of AAA...ongoing... it never ends.....and by changing stuff in Flanders I find new things to change/add in Italy....ohhh my When I asked Steven1918 how he set up AA gun models, he replied there was no one source that described "how to do it" - he just kind of figured it out on his own. We agreed to set my collection of low-level MGs and medium-level 37mm auto cannons aside to concentrate on the Palestine mod, which uses a few of them. Now that Palestine testing is nearly finished, it looks like the AA gun pack should be revisited so it can be released to creative guys like you. 1 Quote
+gterl Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 Finally finished a small personal project. I always wanted a small type of airfield. The big square ones are ok, but that was not always the reality. My inspiration came from the TV (70s) series 'Wings', which features a BE2 squadron and its pilots. Me...I'm happy with the result - Added texture - Defined a 'small airfield ini' - Placed the wonderfull ground objects available here Here we go chaps! Hope you like the result. ...more to follow 2 Quote
+quack74 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Very cool. Great idea for forward landing fields. Quote
+Stephen1918 Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Nice stuff! I like how you reskinned the Bazaar to make an... is it an ammo dump? By the way, the rail mounted artillery gun would have been parked by itself on its own siding for firing. They had such a long range, and had such a tremendous recoil, that they actually laid a separate set of tracks when they were deployed. Quote
+gterl Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 more updates.... train tracks and train stations at the major cities new trenches small aerodromes (british & german) eye candy ahhh yes forgot..... random explosions on the ground (simulating artillery) 1 Quote
manitouguy Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 very nice ! is this one still only out there for a few testers or publicly available yet? regards, Ron Quote
