I just finished a bunch of 3" 50cal guns; check your email for them soon.

From right to left:

  • The open-mount I originally made for the Leahy, but I re-mapped it on its own texture sheet so you can use it more efficiently in other ships. Iwo Jima was laid down with these.
  • Standard Mk33 turret, which has a really weird shape and I'm not 100% satisfied with, but I think it's close enough. The LPH's got a refit to this type at some point.
  • Alternate Mk33 turret, used on other types of ships like the Oslo class frigates. I'm including them here for completion.

Nice work, man!

I'm sending you a new stand-alone Phalanx model. I re-optimized it and remapped to a separate sheet like the other guns.

This will also make it easier for me in the future to install on new ships. (I really should've been doing that from the beginning.)

quote from an old sci-fi novel:

"human engineers think in modules, don't they?"

wbs, even these little bits (guns and turrets and such) look pretty damn good!!

Excellent work. Just double-check the node names for your weapons to fix those floating missiles. You may also want to set up the launcher with a single missile and 7 reloads, which is how Sea Sparrows are set up on the stock ships and mine. Fewer XYZ coordinates to worry about.

Oh, and let me know if you need a custom flight deck lod.
