2skicomrade Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 That's one of the problems with the MiG-29... its forced to land with a small angle of attack because of the low clearance of the jet pipes. Also why the new carrier versions have those massive flaps (to lower the landing speed).

Seen landing of hungarian Mig-29 when we still had them. They opened break chute almost at the moment when the tires touched the ground.
